IHOP — Restaurant in Visalia

Service from the server was great-

We had gone for my husband's birthday as he was sent an IHOP coupon to his email for a free stack of pancakes.

We were seated as soon as we came inside and order was promptly taken.

After our meal we presented the coupon from our phone only to be told by the server it could only be accepted if it was printed on paper. Upon asking the speak with the manager the owner and manager came up and preceded to very rudely and condescendingly tell me this location only accepts coupons printed out and there is a sign on the register that says so. I hadn't even seen the register when we walked in as we were seated before I could even look around. When J mentioned that it did not say that on the coupon he continued to be rude and said that I should have told the server before I even ordered.

Horrible customer service and couldn't believe how condescending he spoke to me.

Will not return and suggest you visit the Tulare location instead as many reviews of similar incidents have been given on this awful owner and his bad treatment of...

Twice now I've been here with family because we enjoy pancakes, but if you come here I HIGHLY recommend you don't get seated in the area that a waitress named Angelica services (her table side manners are lacking and she seems to rush taking your order and brushes you off if you ask for things). The first time we gave her the benefit of the doubt, but this second time nope. We ordered very simple breakfast plates; buttermilk pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, and hash browns. Nothing there that would take over 30 mins to cook! We asked her where our order was as people who arrived AFTER us were getting their food before we were. She went to go check on it and barely put the order in. 🙄 As a waitress she SHOULD have been telling the cooks "Hey where's my order for table so and so at?". She wasn't on top of the orders at all and less than 5 mins after she put our order in did it come out to us. Needless to say we weren't happy. I have four kids since they were little will be going to IHOP on for breakfast the breakfast is good here. when we arrive at the restaurant we always sit on the right hand side there's his waitress that she's always smiling laughing talking to everybody so bubbly she's been there for years she's been there and she will always be our waitress all the time so funny so it's been 10 years that we haven't gone Now that I go back with my oldest daughter is pregnant so guess we arrive at IHOP make a right set up one of the tables right there and here comes our waitress she's tall beautiful blue eyes always talking smiling laughing she's been here for years she has like silver white hair I just forgot her name but you cannot miss her she's always talking & Smiling.she got our order I looked at my daughter and told her to remember her and she goes yes I can't believe she still works here yep...
