I’ve known Los Arbolitos restaurants for having great Mexican food, but this has to be the exception. My daughter ordered an asada quesadilla, it had very little cheese and meat….more than one inch around was just tortilla. I ordered a chile relleno with rice and beans. Rice and beans was the only thing I found decent The Chile relleno was cold, and when I tried to cut it the knife wouldn’t go through. There was a big chunk that was super stiff. I called the girl and pointed it out asking when had they cooked this and she said that it was prepackaged….not made here at the restaurant. She did offer to make another one which wasn’t too much of a difference….just this time it was hot. I couldn’t believe that they are selling store bought frozen Chile rellenos…I mean I didn’t know I had to ask if they are freshly made or frozen 😬. Extremely disappointed . And last but not least, the ranch seemed to be good but as I was eating a French fry with it I detected a horrible taste to it. I don’t know if it was expired or what but it was nasty. When the girl brought me the other Chile relleno I told her about the ranch and this time she did give me an attitude saying that she had just filled the container. Read moreNot what I was expecting. Food was so cold I felt like walking away. I ask for my refund and they told me they didn’t do refunds. A young woman comes in asking for a refund and it was granted... They have no nutritional info on the food. This is not a taco truck it’s a restaurant yet I feel the food is taco truck grade... A lot of false reviews makes me wonder if the employees are behind these great reviews. The parking is horrible. Someone almost hit motorcycle. The area is horrible!! My helmet was stolen in the short period of time I was there. Not going back. The location on Mooney however is completely different! That location I highly recommend. The food is great, burgers are old fashioned and...
Read moreCame here during lunch. It was a little busy with about 7 people waiting in line to order.
I ordered Asada Fries and a small horchata to-go. I received one green and red salsa with the order. I tried the salsas and both were pretty watery and lacking some kick to it, especially the green salsa. The order was pretty abundant, but it lacked an umph. The beans tasted as if they were canned beans. The meat is pretty decent. The horchata was also watery and pretty powdery.
Overall, I wasn't too impressed with what I ordered. The service was good. I'd considered going back in the future to give them...
