Taqueria Don Taco — Restaurant in Visalia

I would always stop for menudo, tacos or soups. Today was the worst service I ever had. I went with a friend and his order came out quickly I had to go up and tell the woman about my order and was told it would not be long, my order came and I had to ask what happened to my tortillas they came and my friend had to wait for me to finish. Very bad service I told them I would never come back again and they just turned around and left our table. No concern what's so ever I know it's now under new ownership and maybe you don't care. But if you want to do good you need to take care of your customers. Another woman stopped by and was leaving because she found a hair in her burrito we told her to say something but just...

Went to buy 4 regular tacos for quick lunch, total amount 10 dollars. 10 dollars! Come to find out they add a 50 cent charge for carne asada for each taco. Dont know about you but 10 dollars for 4 regular tacos is to expensive. Adding 50 cents for anything carne asada is a joke, Plus they are greedy with thier salsa cups. I spent 30 dollars on food and they gave only 2 cups for salsa, they also will try to give you only 5 to 8 chips with your meal. Being greedy will be their down fall. I wouldn't of noticed the extra charge because they said 7 dollars was the total but looked at the receipt and a 2 dollar charge for 4 carne asada tacos. Total amount 10...

All bad! After getting my menudo here for the last 10 years, today that's gonna change! I believe after switching ownership they got rid of the old cook....and he took his recipes with him. The menudo I tasted today was the worst I've tasted in Tulare County. Horrible flavor and super greasy!!! I think I may have cried a little because this was my GoTo when it came to menudo. I kind of wanna start a GoFundMe so we can pay for the old cook to come back to this place or maybe even start his own restaurant. Very sad day in Visalia. Can the new owner please bring back the old cook. You're losing business bud. The service has even gotten so poor....
