The Human Bean — Restaurant in Visalia

My husband and I are on a CA road-trip (visiting from Midwest) so we can’t make our own coffee. It’s impossible to know which coffee shops will suit our taste. We just ordered what we always order at coffee shops. I got a small vanilla latte and my husband got a large coffee. The cup was too hot. I had to put a stack of napkins around it. I could barely taste the vanilla. And they filled it so full I almost spilled it. I can’t drink such a hot coffee through a tiny hole so I took the cap off. My husband’s coffee was weak. Sorry, don’t mean to be mean..just being honest. Hopefully this can be taken as suggestions to improve. All in all, thankful for a cup of coffee before our long drive. I'd love to say I'm a Human Bean fanatic, but I'm starting to lose my excitement about them. My wife introduced me to HB since we were in Colorado and I've been going to the one on Caldwell since their first day opened. Now I live closer to the Ben Maddox Way one and I've got to admit, the service there has been poor. They are slow, they leave you at the drive-thru with no acknowledgement. It would be nice to atleast be greeted and told, "Hello, we'll be right with you." Just a courtesy that Caldwell always had. The girls that work there are nice but that isn't the issue. The drinks are great (when they are correctly made) but quality of service has declined...

I got 8 drinks from there and they didn't even know how to make them I had to tell them what to put in it they didn't know how to make any drinks actually the one across town is a 100% better And the drinks weren't even custom ordered they were normal drinks And the drink that I got still just tastes like red bull in a cup they had to put extra syrup in it it looks just like redbull tastes like redbull with a flavor of peach and it was supposed to be a lot better but but I'm not one to complain for a lot but this place needs to step it up a little bit compared to the other...
