MONICA, this 5 star review is for you! I walked in today to pick up a DoorDash order and the employee had me fill the drink. When I realized there wasn’t any ice, I asked another employee (“M”) if there was any ice for the customers soda. He said no. I asked if it could be replaced with a cold drink from the cooler. He said no, it’s against policy. I told him I wasn’t okay taking a warm soda to the customer. I looked at the address and could see I was delivering to her work. He shrugged and said there was nothing he could do. I asked to speak to the manager. He went through the back doors and came back out not saying anything to me. In the meantime, MONICA who appeared to be trying to take a lunch at a table eating her sandwich got up and said she would go get some ice. I asked “M” if a manager was coming. He said, “She’s busy.” I said, “Can you please let her know I need to speak with her?” He went back to the doors and out came the manager. She explained their ice machine is broken. I explained I understand that, but to take OUR customer a warm soda is such a poor customer service. I said it should be replaced with a cold drink from the cooler in this case. I told her “M” was absolutely no help and “this poor girl trying to have some lunch got up from eating and is taking care of the problem.” At this time MONICA came in with some ice in which she came straight to me and I filled the customers cup with ice. Read moreI recently ordered a sandwich through door dash, however I accidentally left the wrong address and pressed order. I immediately cancelled the order and received a cancellation notice. After I received a cancellation notice I then received a notice saying that my sandwich had been confirmed. Because of this, DoorDash would only give me 3 dollars of my order back, as Port of Sub had already taken my money. I drove to the store and, even though they still had my money, they refused to give me a sandwich unless I paid again. I’ve been going to this port of sub for years and haven’t had any problems, so I’m honestly surprised that the owner would treat a customer this way. Thanks to them I was out almost 20 dollars, and had no food. I understand that it was initially my fault for not putting in the right address, however it could have been easily fixed by the store just making a sandwich...
