Acropolis Greek Grill — Restaurant in Vista

Ordering for a party of 40 from the Acropolis Greek Grill made me slightly nervous. Reservations for large parties can only be made 7 days prior to the event. We wanted a 30-day head start on our order to ensure timely delivery for our 40-person party. The restaurant’s follow-up call put my mind at ease. I was very pleased with both the food and ordering process. Plus, the pickup spot is perfect. The restaurant had our order prepared and hot when we arrived for pickup; there was no wait. For our son’s 30th birthday party, we needed authentic Greek food for 40 guests and the Acropolis Greek Grill delivered. Our party menu included Grilled Shrimp Pita (with pita sandwich, rice, drink), Gyros Pack (large, 10 servings), Combination Pack (large, white chicken), and Double Kebab Pack (large, white chicken) were all a hit. My go-to lunch spot for several reasons:

1. Fantastic food - fresh fresh fresh, full of flavor, and great portions.
2. Healthy food - I am NOT a 'just a salad' kind of girl. In fact, i never even look twice at the salad sections of any menu because i know a salad will not satisfy me.... except here. Their salads are awesome and come with generous portions of meat on top. I am always full by the end and never left wanting. They also come with a side of tzatziki and pita so i can make a few mini wraps to satisfy the craving to indulge just a little bit.
3. Fast/Convenient - Their website has an 'order online' button where you can order ahead for a certain time - and the food is always ready when i get there to pick it up - i am in and out faster than the people sitting in the fastfood drive-thru lines across the lot.

Excellent excellent Mediterranean food. Often what I would think of as Greek food in San Diego. They have far more variety than just gyros too. Their salads are so good! This is a great spot to go, there is lots of indoor seating and a fair amount of outdoor seating too. The parking lot is pretty big, and if it's full. There is plenty of other parking near by.

This restaurant has a little something for everyone. If you have special dietary requirements, chances are you can find a meal here. Staff has alway been super friendly. You order at the front and then sit down. They have fountain sodas with Pepsi products, as well as some other drinks. Restrooms for customers too.
