Never again! This is my second visit here. Last time I ordered a bean rice and cheese burrito and when the younger girl working the front handed it to me she said here is your bean and cheese burrito. When I asked if it had rice like I had asked for, she argued with me and told me that I didn't ask for rice. Not sure about anyone else but at that point the last thing I want her to do is re make my food with that attitude so I walked away disappointed in the overpriced and incorrect burrito I was served. This time I came in and clearly asked for a bean rice and cheese burrito since it was the same girl who didn't understand my request last time. She says OK, bean and cheese burrito, so I had to correct her and say bean rice and chews again. She gave me attitude probably overcharges me and seconds later hands me a tiny burrito which was an obsurd amount for beans rice and cheese. Do yourself a favor and go to one of the many other Mexican restaurants in the area for better service and...

I've been coming here for years, but it's not as good. The front end used to be dominated by two women who were sisters. They were always so sweet, had amazing customers service, and knew me since I came as a teenager(as well as my family). The food was always great. There must have been a change in management or something because I don't recognize anybody and there have been a lot of changes. That or they just don't care anymore. The front people don't know what they're doing, the food is not as fresh, and the quality not very good. Yes, it's cheap prices but they can't even get the beans right! If you serve burned beans, BASICALLY THE STAPLE OF MEXICAN FOOD, it must mean you don't care.

So three stars for nostalgia, still relatively cheap food, but overall poor quality. Might as well go to filiburtos...

Ok so I've lived in Vista about 17 years. I've always went here for my mariscadas . After they sold the place a few years ago I went to have my usual and was so disappointed. It was more expensive and they charged me extra for chips instead of crackers and there was no lime flavor or extra lime slice on the side like before. ..Fast forward 2 years.. today I decided to give it another try hoping they changed for the better. I ordered it no octopus and no oysters. It was delicious! It was still $3 more then I used to pay before but at least I dont have to drive to the San Marcos location anymore. The reason I took one star off is the 2 people working there did not have masks on 😷 with all that is going on I think they should have had one on it's not fair to the customers like me that are...
