Vigilante Coffee Vista — Restaurant in Vista

I had a great experience at Vigilante Coffee! Parking was easy, and the shop itself is spacious with a calm, relaxed vibe. There weren’t many people staying for long, which made it a nice, quiet place to enjoy my time. They offer SEVERAL VEGAN options, which is a huge plus in this area where it’s hard to find places with vegan choices. I tried the vegan raspberry pop tart and cinnamon roll, both were delicious, and they even warmed them up for me!

Other vegan options include a pumpkin seed mini loaf, pumpkin cheesecake Danish, and oatmeal breakfast cookie, which I’ll definitely be trying next time. It's important to mention all these because it’s rare to find so many vegan treats in one spot, and I want to help keep this place going strong!

The staff was super friendly, and the bathroom facilities were impressively clean, with some cool, artistic touches. The bathroom had a skate-magazine, hipster vibe with lots of photos, which added to the overall ambiance. There’s also a cute outdoor patio in the back with colorful umbrellas hung across lines and some well-placed plants – they’ve clearly put effort into creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Pricing was reasonable – I got two vegan treats and an Earl Grey tea for under $10. Speaking of the tea, it was great! They filled it to the top, unlike some places that skimp on portion size.

The only small downside was the lack of trash cans outside of the bathroom. We had to give our trash to the staff, which was a bit confusing, but maybe it’s for a sustainability reason. Other than that, everything...

I recently visited Vigilante Coffee Vista looking for a cozy spot to focus while editing hours of wedding footage. 💻 I arrived in the morning and ended up doing 4.5 hours of deep work! The atmosphere was just right for productivity, with a perfect blend of energy and calm.

I ordered an açai bowl, and let me tell you, it was super yummy! 😋 It provided the perfect fuel to keep me going through my editing marathon. The flavors were fresh, and it definitely added to the overall experience!

The workers were incredibly nice and attentive, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. 🤗 The cozy vibe of the café really helped me to concentrate and enjoy my time there. I can see this becoming my go-to spot for work outside of home!

Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Vigilante Coffee Vista. 🌟 I’ll definitely be back again to enjoy more productive sessions in this lovely café. 10 out of 10...

I’ll update if they fix the AC! I came one time Saturday afternoon (5/17) and it was pleasant. Didn’t get coffee because they didn’t have Heavy Cream (a must have for those on Keto). Returned today (Wednesday 5/21) afternoon and felt like a sauna inside (garage windows closed and AC not operating—or not cooling)! Wow! What an awful environment to have to work in—I couldn’t sit inside—almost left, but brought my Heavy Cream and really wanted to try their coffee! So I got an iced Americano and sat out front—at least there’s shade and a breeze. Coffee was good. Please provide a healthy work environment for your team! And for your guests!
