I visited this place for the first time after hearing about it from farmers market vendor. I had their avocado toast and green smoothie. The toast was very good, the smoothie was excellent -- chilled just right. I thought their toast was quite original. It wasn't just avocado on toast sprinkled with pepper and olive oil. It had tomato, honey chipotle drizzle, and some kind of spicy green herb. It was beautiful and tasty. The slices of bread were on the smaller side compared to other places. I'd still prefer the avocado toast here.
The space itself is pleasant, green, and interesting. They have glowing balls hanging from the ceiling on iron sticks that are their lamps. Also from the ceiling are long stem plants. Their walls are decorated with local art and they have an interesting sun sculpture. The center is a mirror and the rays are an interesting iron sculpture. Most of their seating is two small tables surrounded by four chairs but they have a table with a couch on one side. They have a lone chair. They have a few seats facing the wall, one with a large mirror. At their storefront they have more hanging plants and a couple of golden star sculptures. There are also a couple of tables outside.
I will be making this place a regular stop. I look forward to tasting their...
Read moreMy partner and I have recently gone plant based and this may have become our new weekend breakfast spot. The atmosphere was very relaxed and inviting. There’s artwork all over the walls and real plants everywhere. There’s music playing and a couch that you can sit and dine at. There are also tables (of course). There are books all over mostly children’s book but also cookbooks, books about music and various topics. We were greeted by the cashier (who was also cooking and serving) I ordered the vegan breakfast sandwich and my boyfriend ordered the sweet and spicy vegan toast. The sandwich had vegan eggs, vegan Canadian bacon, bean sprouts, mustard, red onion & avocado all on an English muffin. And to my surprise a smol gerhkin pickle and some kettle chips. It was all of my favorite things altogether. For the sweet and spicy toast it was housemade Gluten free sourdough bread with vegan cream cheese, cucumbers, fig jam, Sriracha, basil and vegan bacon. Both of these items were soooo delicious and surprisingly filling. There was kombucha on tap and refillable coffee with house made cashew milk. Overall the experience was exceptional and I would recommend this place to anyone; vegan or not. We will definitely be coming back to try the...
Read moreThe plain vegan bagel is the greatest tasting bagel I've had!! Hands down!! I got the vegan bagel sandwich, and the bagel was the BEST part! (Although the sauces were pretty tasty as well!) If I go back again I'll skip the sandwich and order bagels only! That's how you know the "bread is good", when it requires no topping whatsoever! The vegan pasta salad has A GREAT FLAVOR! Could improve on pasta texture as it was a bit "gummy". Only downsides which prevented 5 stars was they don't have a cook top and subsequently use a microwave to prepare some things such as the Just Egg. If you're like me and try to avoid microwaves I would not order the vegan egg. And finally, the person answering the phone sounds very stressed and irritated. I called several times and the same person answered and the same person didn't have great energy. Being a mystic, energy is important to me, especially the energy that goes...
