Pho House — Restaurant in Vista

While been sometime since we've been in CA, we always try to eat certain foods when we are here. A nice drive up the coast landed us in North County. Remembering some good Vietnamese restaurants in the area we did a quick search on maps. We weren't 100% sure of the restaurant we used to go to so we chose Pho House. They had a nice rating of 4.7 Stars.

Although the building - including the interior-is relatively nondescript, that's where 'average' ends.

We were greeted by an extraordinarily charming young woman. To describe her as friendly might be an understatement. She was courteous, charming, and kind from the moment we walked in. As with many restaurants this young lady who seemed to be serving as Hostess and server both, delivered water to our table expediently and asked what we else would like to drink. We were ready to order at that point and did so.

We ordered the six spring rolls, and a bowl of 'house special' Bun - rice vermacelli- with meats and Vietnamese egg rolls on the top. There was plenty of meat, both pork and chicken, the portion was generous. I'm here to tell you that this was perhaps the best bowl of Bun I may ever have had. Flavors were good, the noodles were very slightly warm, not room temp or cold.

If you're in the Vista area near Costco and spot the familiar name, 'Pho House,' you're in for a unique treat. This is a newer location, a sibling to the long-standing Pho House in Oceanside on Mission near Pit Stop Diner. The same excellent service and exceptional Vietnamese food you remember from Oceanside await you here in Vista. You'll even find some familiar faces diligently working to create a comfortable atmosphere and serve quality products. It's a unique experience that's worth a visit.

There's a reason why this place has garnered so much praise. The food is not just good; it's delicious. You're in for a culinary delight, whether craving a Spring Roll or one of their fantastic soups. The broths for the soups are authentic, traditional, and superior. The amicable and attentive staff genuinely wants you to have the best experience possible. And the location? It's not just convenient, it's in the heart of the Vista Place Shopping Center, close to everything.

I can't help but share my love for this place. I bring as many people as possible to this location and will continue to do so. The food, the service, the atmosphere—everything is just right. I can confidently recommend it to anyone looking for a great dining...
