Decided to take my daughter today and I purchased the unlimited deal online. Since she’s not tall enough to drive on her own for the go karts, I decided to wait to buy one for her, because I wanted to see if there was a different option available. They were super helpful when I arrived, asking if they had any other options available. I was happy they did! So I bought her the passenger day pass and we were on our way to the go karts. They only had one of the double cars available today, which was kind of a bummer, but we were happy to wait. The lines were not long, so fortunately we did not have to wait long. Next we decided to play in the arcade since there were more people, so we decided to check back a little later. When we went back to ride the go karts, there was only a couple people in line in front of us, but we had to wait for the double car to be available. When it was finally our turn, we were informed the double car was not able to be used anymore due to it needing repairs 😞 such a bummer! I decided to return to the counter to see if we could get a round of mini golf instead or something, rather than a refund. We mainly went for the go karts, but I was still happy to see if we could work something out. The girl at the counter was so awesome and nice! She was very accommodating and was happy to let us play a round of mini golf. I had the pass so it was for my daughter. Then, she also asked us if we wanted to ride the helicopters. I didn’t even know they had those, so we played golf, then rode the helicopters. She was so nice and I was so grateful and happy, I forgot about missing out on the go karts ☺️ Her customer service and willingness to accommodate us was above and beyond and I will always remember that. It’s people like her that make you want to keep going back. My daughter and I will be forever grateful and look forward our next trip there. I just hope they get those double seater go karts fixed soon! 😀
On another note, the golf courses are completely redone and they are awesome! They have clearly marked out each hole as well, and the grounds were very clean...
Read moreExtremely disappointed with the lack of customer service at this supposed fun environment. We played golf and it was okay but the putting area had a lip or edge on each hole, while creating a miss each turn. We also went to the go karts and saw a line that wasn’t too long and we were thinking the wait wouldn’t be too long. We were extremely mistaken! The line wasn’t even that long and we should have went through seamlessly. However, instead we waited for and HOUR AND A HALF as if we were waiting in line at an amusement park or something...!! The main purpose of coming to this place was to race the karts. A person in our party had never been in them so we were determined to take her. They only had 5 karts running which caused an extremely long wait time. We have been to numerous fun centers and have never seen them only run 5 karts with a lot of people waiting. I spoke to a manager, Stephanie and she was rude and unprofessional when I advised her of the situation that occurred. She didn’t even offer a solution and basically advised me that it’s Saturday night and is expected to be busy. This place wasn’t even really busy. So we were extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with the lack of customer service and experience. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND going elsewhere. Also, the cashier at Johnny Rockets was also rude as well. I tried subbing an item for another side and of course advised I was completely fine with an up charge and was repeatedly advised they were unable to provide me with what I wanted. So, I ended up having to purchase two full priced sides to get what I wanted. Then, we didn’t receive our food for 20 mins and we were still missing two items from our order. Our night started out somewhat okay and slowly but surely we were extremely disappointed in every area we went to. We are surprised by the reviews about this business because others received a completely opposite experience than we did. Save your money and go somewhere else!!!!...
Read moreMy siblings and I, all in our 20s, recently visited this location primarily for the mini golf experience. It was our second time here, as we truly appreciate the captivating scenery, creative displays, and the overall variety and quality of the holes. Despite the need for a few hole revamps, we still find the mini golf course enjoyable and worth the approximately 50-minute commute (especially since the Boomers location in San Diego has permanently closed).
One of the main reasons we choose this location over a standard mini golf spot is the availability of Go Karts. We were thrilled to learn that they had recently introduced new karts, as we had an absolute blast with the old ones during our previous visits. However, this time, we noticed a peculiar issue. Although we didn't observe any noticeable differences in the karts themselves, the following morning, all of us experienced discomfort and pain in our backs and lower bodies. Our lower spines seemed particularly affected, as if they had endured significant strain during our Go Kart session. This is an entirely new experience for us, as we never encountered such discomfort with the previous karts at this location.
Currently, all of us are still enduring similar pain, and there are visible red dots and bruising in the areas where we feel the most discomfort. Although we expect to recover in a few days, we are curious to know if anyone else has encountered a similar issue with the new karts. Despite this incident, we genuinely hope that this matter can be addressed to ensure the continued enjoyment and safety...
