UPDATE - They only respond to 4-star or 5-star reviews. Anything less than 4 stars and the owners will ignore! From the moment we checked in we were treated with zero respect! The lady at the reception desk acted as if she didn't want to speak to us, we were standing at the desk waiting for someone to check us in and she looked past us to ask a white family if they were being helped. We were a little early for our 7:30pm reservation but weren't seated until after 7:30pm even though people who came in well after us were seated immediately. Our server, if you want to call her that was horrible. We were missing a fork and asked her for one and she forgot all about us. We didn't get our drinks (2 cokes and 1 juice) until after people who were seated after us received theirs, she served the other table their drinks and told us someone was making ours and they'd be done soon and disappeared again. When she came back we asked the server for some ketchup for our son and she forgot that too. When she finally did come back to the table, we reminded her and she said she forgot. It was over 10 minutes later when she returned with the ketchup. We didn't she her again for another 20 minutes or so. She asked if we wanted dessert or anything else and we told her we'd like dessert to go and the check and she disappeared again. We waited about 15 minutes before I (the husband) got up and went to the front desk to get the check so we could pay and get out of there. On the way to the front desk I saw our server take care of multiple tables while my family was still waiting. When I asked the lady at the front desk who I had to see to get the check so I could pay it and leave, she ignored me and walked away. Thankfully, there was another lady there who took care of things. She got the check for me. While I was paying the bill, our server came over to the bar area and had the audasity to ask if we still wanted dessert. I told her no and continued paying the bill. While I was paying the bill, the server stood there like she was actually expecting a tip! Once the bill was settled (I didn't even get a receipt!), I got my family out of there as fast as possible! We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and my wife told me that dinner ruined the day for her. We have never been treated with such disrespect and disregard before, as if we were beneath everyone else in the restaurant. We will never step foot in your restaurant again! We paid $181 to be treated like garbage. Thanks for ruining what was supposed to be a great day! As for the food: the "salad bar" is less than basic and not many real choices. The meats were okay, some were very salty but most were tender. Some of the cuts were very fatty and chewy. There were 3 of us and our bill came out to $181! Definity not worth the price, could have gone to Ruths Cris or a better restuarant for that price and received MUCH better service. There were people in there with crocs and no socks on, people with work clothes (like they just left finished working on cars). It looks like an upscale restuarant but it's truly an over- hyped, over priced restuarant more on scale with Chili's or TGIFridays. There are much better restuarants to spend over $50 a person on where you'll get much better...
Read moreMe and a friend had dinner there and the waitress Daniel was literally interrogating me and my friend. With a face that had no smile on it she asked that were very personal and humiliating. 1st she was nosy to know what relationship i have with the person i had come with ,then she asked what do we do for a living. ? İ understand waitress can try to make a conversation with you to built a rapport in order to be tipped well. But this Young immature girl was literally getting into our pants with a serious face ,not even a smile on face while asking so many personal questions. İ did not want to complain to the manager about her so i chose to tell her that it was rude for her to ask us how much money we make and what is our relationship,it was non of her business. To which she said sorry and walked off with a attitude before i even completed what i wanted to tell her. After that behavior of hers i decided to talk to the manager Alex who said "well maybe she was trying to make a conversation". Which shocked me. He was siding that waitress . Then i asked for the other floor manager she was better and apologized and gave the desert complimentary. No about it complimentary food can make up for the humiliation i went through in this restaurant. İ will never recommend this place to anyone. They think they are doing you a favor by serving you dinner. Well FYİ that's your job. You thrive because people come to your restaurant and pay you money. So start treating your customers with respect and get a grip on the immature kids you hire as waitresses. (The 2 guys serving the meat were good with their service,i left them a tip) But RG you need to get a grip on who you hire . Huge turn off . Wasted my...
Read moreAs far as Brazilian Steak Houses go, Rodizio in Vorhees does a pretty good job. The staff were very friendly. The food was very good, and the ambiance was solid. The price for the meal was a bit less than I'm used to spending at a BSH. If I were to compare it to Fogo de Chao I would put it just below then a notch in the authenticity department. I've been to Flame as well in Delran, and it was also a little bit more authentic. My wife is a native Brazilian so she is a little bit more picky when it comes to rice and beans than I am. But that is always the measure.. how good are the rice and beans? She said they were passable here.. but not as authentically Brazilian as she prefers.
The host and our waitress who sat us were fantastic. Both were very friendly but neither spoke Portuguese which is also a measure of authenticity for Brazilian steakhouses. I don't think anybody spoke Portuguese that we dealt with at the restaurant. That's not the end-all be all when it comes to Brazilian steakhouses.. but it adds a little flair.
One of the servers brought a dish to us and I asked if he would recommend it. He was very honest and told us that he hadn't tried it yet. Not that it was brand new or something he didn't particularly like, but that he never tried it.
A message to restaurant management would be that all of your servers should try all of your food frequently so that they are extremely familiar and can make recommendations. It was kind of a letdown to find out that that wasn't practice here.
Overall I would give Rodizio Grill in Voorhees NJ a big thumb up for a good overall experience. I would have no problem returning... And I would say don't hesitate to give it a try if...
