I recently had the pleasure of stumbling upon Jalapeño Baja, a quick Mexican restaurant that turned out to be a hidden gem. From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a treat. The ambiance was lively, and the staff greeted me with warm smiles and welcoming attitudes.

As a big eater, I decided to try the protein bowl, and boy, was I in for a surprise! The portion size was beyond enormous. I couldn't believe my eyes when they brought out the bowl filled to the brim with delicious ingredients. Even with my wife's help, we couldn't finish it all. We went into Jalapeño Baja and we each got a build your own burrito 🌯 I got regular chicken and my boyfriend got a chicken pastor and we were told we could only get three toppings after the three toppings it would be a 50 cent upcharge for each topping that we would like to add to each of our burritos. With the burritos already being $10.69 a peice and for two of them that's over 20 bucks already so we both just decided to do the three toppings each and so our burritos were literally chicken rice lettuce mozzarella cheese and corn. They did however put sour cream and chipolete on for free (Very minimal amounts of each item including the sour cream and chipolete) Needless to say we are very disappointed with our visit today. I took my dog , on a whim , to grab a bite to eat. I rarely eat anything other than my own cooking. I might stop somewhere once a month but usually not. After reading the reviews we went through the drive thru and I will say .. everyone was on point. The food was amazing, especially the pinto beans and rice. I got a kids meal for myself and the portions were big enough for 2 people. My dog had a cheese quesadilla and it was to his satisfaction for sure .
