Andy's Frozen Custard — Restaurant in Waco

Edit 1 year later: We tried Andy’s again for my favorite: key like concrete! Same thing happened. The concrete was mostly just vanilla custard and already melted when handed to us. Just not the same quality or customer service we are accustomed to when we are in Springfield, MO. Disappointed again. We have had Andy’s many times in Springfield, MO. We love it! I wait all year for the key lime pie concrete. It’s my very favorite. What a let down this Andy’s turned out to be. The employees were not friendly and our concretes were mostly vanilla custard with very little pie mixed in. Definitely not the piece of pie promised or what we are accustomed to when going to Andy’s. We also stood at the window to ask for extra napkins and no one ever walked back over to help. We pull up to the window and ask the young girl at the window for a takeout menu because I had forgotten the toppings that you can get in your shake and she couldn’t quote any of the toppings from memory, that’s when we noticed this older women wearing glasses and a red hat (obviously the manager) being very rude and loud to the young girl and told her “remember never give out menus at the window” (then why are there takeout menus next to the window?) The young woman at the window was also very rude, probably upset with how her manager treats her, Then we proceeded to pay 19 dollars and some change for three shakes. I ate probably one fourth of mine and put it in the trash, I recommend going to McDonald’s or about any other place that sells shakes and ice cream to save money and get better product and...

Very delicious and creamy! I had the Jitterbug today, which was vanilla custard mixed with espresso, heath bars, and almonds. Very well balanced, and the espresso didnt melt the custard! They have a large flavor repretoir, and many mix and match options, plus specialty and seasonal options. I cant wait for the pumpkin pie and eggnog flavors! There is no food, but they do have sundaes, italian ice, and floats, so there is a lot of variety, for a good price! The staff are super friendly, and I got my frozen custard almost before they were done explaining the rewards program!
