I guess my first ever review will be a bad one. I spend too much on Starbucks, really. Easily thousands every year. Thats why it bugs me so much to see a Starbucks that is messing most of it. The employees are rude and rush you, don't care about the drinks, and will try and upcharge you only to not include what you paid for! An example of this is just earlier today, where I was up-charged $1.50 for light ice, and then my drink came out 25% empty because "Less ice means less space filled". I paid $1.50 for them to scoop less ice!? Its experiences like these and many others that mean I'll be making the long walk to Moody Library Starbucks...
Read moreThey’re all quite nice but they have no concept of... mixing or stirring. Iced drinks are worst offenders - they’ll have thicc syrup at the bottom and bitter coffee at the top and it takes like 10 min of swirling to get them to even partially mix while spilling coffee everywhere. Hot drinks also just have syrup sitting on the bottom so the first half of your drink is bitter and last two sips are a fun surprise of all the sugar in the universe. It’s multiple people at multiple times not mixing the drinks at all so maybe it’s like their training or something but seriously this Starbucks is consistently...
Read moreI really like this Starbucks. Just now I had a miscommunication with the cashier, and she thought I said "Hot Chai" instead of "Hot Chocolate". I was quite nervous to go confront them about it, as I didn't know if they would be helpful, as Baylor as a whole can be quite intimidating. I asked one of them about it when they got a tad slower, and the lady behind the counter said " I THOUGHT YOU SAID THE OTHER THING AHH." I had my correct drink with no extra charge, nor hassle, in 2 minutes. plus a funny story. Starbucks will be something I miss a lot...
