El Crucero can do no wrong.
Well, since they have gone cash-only, it's been harder to make it by frequently. But everything they do is just right. Their breakfast tacos are nearly the best in Waco. For the price, they definitely are—$2 each.
I have had their lunch tacos as well. All of them are good, but the pastor and asada are my favorites. Both salsas are delicious. The red is milder than the green.
Their tortillas are delicious. I was recently able to purchase a dozen flour tortillas for a family dinner. Better than store bought!

Read moreI am halfway thru my food and it is not as good as the reviews said. Rice taste like it was microwaved. Red hot sauce taste like straight ketchup, looks like it to. Potatoes in burrito are mush. The menu said no substitution so that make me wonder how old this food really is. After i eat the hot sauce it leaves a weird taste in my mouth. My girlfriend didnt like it either. I will never go back. Disappointed in this place. Its always croweded so i thought they might have some good food but i was wrong. Also tge potatoes still have skin on them, i hate potato skin but thats just me.

I got a breakfast burrito with eggs, bacon, potatoes and a fried egg in it and it tasted great and was a decent amount (cost around $6) My friends around me ordered breakfast tacos and other breakfast plates that all looked tasty as well.
