Tootie’s — Restaurant in Waco

Today was only my 2nd time having the pleasure of getting some amazing food from Tootie. And man did she not disappoint at all!! I ordered the Birria fries which were loaded with all kinds of deliciousness and some very flavorful Birria meat. These fries were so good that my 8 year old daughter and 2 year old son kept asking me to share more of the fries with them. My daughter loved them so much that she asked if she could get her own order next time.

Besides the birria fries, I ordered 2 birria tacos and each of my kids got a kids meal. The birria tacos were beyond good. They were so freaking bomb!!! The meat was so tender and juicy and full of flavor. The consommé was also full of flavor. That right there was a cup of liquid gold. My son kept dipping his fries in it and not gonna lie, after I was done dipping my tacos in the consommé, I drank some of it and poured the rest over my birria fries.

My kids loved their kids meals. My daughter got the mini cheeseburgers and fries and my son got the mini corn dogs and fries. They loved every bite and actually finished their meals! Which doesn’t always happen.

I highly recommend y’all check out Tootie’s for some bomb, fresh, fantastic food. Tootie and her staff are all very great, friendly and welcoming people.

I’ve been hearing about this place all over fb. And I’ve been meaning to give it a try. Well today was that day and she did not disappoint!!! I actually went after she had already closed, and she was still nice enough to squeeze me in for the last quesabirria plate of the day!!! For that 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️’s!!!! I’ve been trying quesabirria tacos from different taco stands around Waco, and every time I had one from a taco stand after the first bite, I knew that was not it. But this place here!!! Hands down, after the first bite I knew this is what I’ve been missing out on!!! I dam near slapped my momma!!!😂😂 jk mom!! Food was very flavorful and plentiful!! For that 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️’s!!! And I can put down some food!! Most authentic touch I’ve tasted in a very long time!! It’s out of a corner store, but it taste like it came from your grandmother’s kitchen!! No lie!!! I will definitely be back and know I’ll become a regular!!! Try it!!! I bet you won’t regret it!!! If I knew how to post pics I would!!...

Can you say "YUMMY!"😋 I had been wanting to try Tooties food for a whole minute, and to be honest I hadn't gone because... I thought Bosque🤔...I thought mall...way over to the other side of town😫!! I do not like to drive that far and then...the light comes on🤦🏻‍♀️ Map it...I did, AND its not far! So bam! We went today for supper and were not disappointed.AT.ALL 😋 Food, flavor, and portion size were all amazing. We have leftovers for tomorrow! Yay! We will be going back to try different...
