Bad Experience! My husband was walking past a table through a narrow isle. On top of the table was another table. On top of that was an old rocking horse with the rocker sticking out into the walking area. My husband's shoulder barely bummed the rocker leg that causing a picture that was balanced on the front legs of the horse to fall. This broke the glass of a framed immaculate heart of Jesus. I immediately went to the front to tell the owner. It took her 10 minutes to come see what happened as she was having a casual social conversation with 2 ladies. We waited patiently and my husband proceeded to explain and show her what happened. Stacking items that high in the walkway and on an unbalanced rocker. We offered to pay for the glass to be replaced. She proceeded to she charged us for the full price of the item. She played stupid and acted like there was nothing she could do. She took no claim for stacking things so high and on unbalanced objects. We paid the full price to do the right thing for breaking something. She should have only charged the wholesale price to take some responsibility on her end. Who balances a picture 6 feet up on the front legs of a rocking horse with the legs sticking out in the walk way. It was a matter of time and we were the unlucky ones. The owner has no sense of service, responsibility and right and wrong. To top it off, it was marked as an antique for $189.99. There is nothing antique about it. It is maybe 20 years old. Someone cut a picture of Jesus out of paper and glued it to a board. It is worth $20 at most. Cheap wood and the backing was a piece of cardboard with masking tape. ...
Read moreNot sure what to say about this store. It's a multi-vendor antique mall disguised as a small town boutique with just the right amount of Sanford & Son funk sprinkled in. Good selection of new and vintage goodies to pick through. The staff could use some polishing and customer service training but overall a fun place to explore during a visit to Waco. I'll be back for sure. UPDATE January 11 2020: I visited their new location at The Dallas Farmers Market for the first time today and was a little disappointed. Over half of the store is a mish-mosh of over-priced China fast fashion women's clothing; most of questionable quality. The home decor section reminded me of Home Goods or Tuesday Morning with the same old things you see at many other stores around town. Also still LOTS of leftover Christmas decor which, in my opinion, should have been put away by now. I did try to buy a couple of small things yet when I went to pay, I was told they do not accept cash. I found that to be very odd so I walked out with nothing. The boy behind the counter seemed to not care that a sale...

While I really enjoyed the shop & amazing products at the store, the staff member at the register was not as enjoyable. I was excited to see the "10% off discount upon instagram follow" poster displayed at the front counter. I expressed my excitement to the staff member, pulled out my phone, and notified her that I was going to follow their page.
She rang my items, gave me my total, and I asked if that included the 10% off discount with the follow. Her response was "Well did you show it to me?"
Showing the confirmation of the follow is not the issue here. It was the rude and low level remark that was inappropriate. A response such as "Thanks for the follow! Do you mind if I see it to confirm?" Would make this staff members customer service much better.
This was our first stop for shopping and it left a very sour taste. Unfortunately, I do regret spending my money here; simply because of this...
