I've been going here for the 19 years I've lived in Wadsworth, and the ice cream has never been anything but satisfying. It's made from scratch with quality ingredients (e.g. their Cookies n Cream is made with real Oreos, not off-brand chocolate wafers like other ice cream stands) and if they mistake your order or you even drop your cone on the sidewalk on your way out, they'll give you another for free. The outside has also been freshly painted in recent years so it has a very good look to it. That giant ice cream cone in the front is a well-loved landmark of Wadsworth. However, I know from working there about 6 months that the inside is a prison for those girls. Dave Bidinger has an awful temper and has been known to throw things at the girls and swear at them in his anger. It's a very tense place for teenage girls to work, and many of them aren't even nice to each other. Now that I've experienced it, seen it, and heard horror stories of work experiences there, I start to notice the long faces on the cashiers' faces. Enjoy the ice cream if you wish, but tip those girls really well or avoid giving the palace your...
Read moreToday was my first time ever trying bidingers ice cream and the quality if the ice cream was great. The only issue with our visit was when we were trying to pay. There was an older gentleman trying to cash us out and he told us our card declined, which I knew was incorrect, so he inserted the card again. My husband and I saw him inserted the chip upside down. He yanked it out and said it declined again. So my husband politely said you inserted the card wrong and the gentleman then proceeded to raise his voice saying no that's not the problem the chips don't work here. My husband then kept trying to explain to him and the guy was still yelling about how the chips just don't work. My son already had his ice cream so we just offered to pay that in cash and just leave but he insisted on trying it again. This time he inserted the correct way and it worked. He apologized if he offended us but just over all left a bad taste...
Read moreBidinger's Ice Cream, a veritable juristic delight, merits a laudable verdict in the court of culinary indulgence. Their confectionery craftsmanship is akin to legal acumen, a testament to precision and finesse. The flavors, presented as compelling arguments, make a persuasive case for exquisite taste, while the texture forms a solid foundation, analogous to a well-constructed legal brief. The palate is the ultimate arbitrator, and Bidinger's emerges victorious in delivering a verdict of supreme satisfaction. In the realm of frozen desserts, Bidinger's Ice Cream stands as a paragon of gustatory justice, pleading its case with each...
