for dinner I gave this place a 2nd chance after an underwhelming visit upon first opening. There are a fair amount of options to choose from but I went for the lamb platter which comes with two sides. The lamb was anything but fresh and was plucked from a container on the steam table. It looked so dry and old.......I knew as soon as it was plated that it was going to be a disappointing and it was. Tough, and not very flavorful. The tabbouleh looked like it was a couple of days old. It was very mushy with lots of excess liquid, tasted ok. Tabbouleh is very easy to make but requires fresh parsley. You couldn't smell or even taste the parsley. The hummus and pita were OK. My daughter had no problem with her gyro but she's not terribly picky. I had a pick at her chicken and wasn't impressed. Prices were a little high but not sky high. I think it's fine if you want a quick lunch or gyro. If you're craving real Mediterranean food head downtown or visit Greek Fiesta in Brier Creek. I think places like this or Charlie Kabobs are more suited for simple, rural taste buds....the kind who guzzle gallons of sweet tea.....the ones who celebrate when another burger bar opens...don't like Indian food and go to Olive Garden on Sundays.

Update on the Wake Forest location: I tend to show up between 8pm and closing due to work schedules. The staff in the evening tends to be high school age and misses on the orders. Tonight I didn't pay attention and came home with a to-go to no hummus or tazaki. Sad after paying $20 for one person. Love the food when it's on point but the service/training of staff is showing as an issue. ---------- I've been a customer for over 15 years. The lamb platter with warm fresh pita never disappoints. This is one of my go-to spots when I don't want to cook.

Wow! I've had a lot of gyros, but this place does it right! If you are looking for quick, friendly service that will satisfy your craving, this is it! The lamb gyro is excellent. The pita is soft, the hummus is smooth, creamy and flavorful. The tzatziki sauce is fresh and creamy! The service is SO fast too! The restaurant is very clean! Parking is easy (and free). It is wheelchair and stroller accessible. They also have a high-chair / booster for your young kids.
