Ordered a pizza for takeout and picked it up myself. Would have been better if I had just tossed the food as soon as I carried it out the restaurant. Dough was so thin it became water logged. It was literally wet dough. The toppings were also water logged and did not set. It all slid off as soon as I put on my passenger seat. The cardboard was soaked as well and I had to clean my car. Vegetable toppings were under cooked. When trying to to pick up a slice, the dough was so soggy it was stuck to the card board. The slices that can be picked up could not hold the toppings, it just sloshed off. Nothing about it could be saved. I did not reach out to the restaurant. This pizza sacrilege cannot be repaired.

Cozy little place with mostly excellent pizza. I've never tried the Sicilian slice as I typically stick to round slice, so here is my only gripe: I order it well done ( so I don't see this as a factor), but some (not all) of the slices come out "soupy" at the beginning of the slice which makes for a very sloppy first bite. It's hard to pick up. It droops down intensely to where you'd have to use utensils to eat the first bite. Once you get past that, the pizza is excellent. Very good flavor overall. The staff is very nice and accommodating, and brings the food to you. Always service with a smile. Would still recommend overall.

Different, I got a Sicilian with the chunky tomatoes and garlic....half pepperoni and half meatball and mushroom.. I will try again maybe plain. Then take it from there. I did get 2 other things a shrimp fettachinny It was ok but didnt make me crave it however someone eating a little more healthier then me may love it , I also tried the hippie panini that was pretty good I would get that again.

We did a take out order the other night with high expectations of this longtime restaurant, just on the outshirts of busy wakefield center. My sister ordered stuffed shells, and I had my favorite dish, chicken picatta. Although the portions and price was extremely satisfying, the taste however was lacking! I have never experienced such a bland tasting meal in quite some time, but this one tops the list! Absolutely no lemon taste to this meal,(even the capers didn't help). It's prepared in some type of flavorless cream sause, which masks any potential flavor to come through. Yes , it did arrive with mushrooms , however they too were lost in the creamy sauce. And what's this? Peppers in the meal??? Who ever heard of placing peppers in a chicken picata dish! Bland! Bland! Bland! If you buy it,have your lemon wedges and lots of seasonings to bring this...

This hidden Gem is amazing. It's worth getting off the hwy and going the extra mile for. Small inside but plenty of seating. The food is the best authentic Italian food I've had in a long time. The price for quality and portion is absolutely amazing. The canoli was smaller than some other places, so I recommend getting 2 because you will want more. 100 times better than any I've personally driven to the north end for. Employees are so friendly and nice. I have issues with heartburn and red sauce but I don't when I eat here, not sure why or what they do but I'm thrilled because I could eat their sauce with a spoon, so good. Stuffed shells & meatballs & lasagna are made with high-quality cheeses and pasta, and it shows. You won't be...

I've been on the hunt for a really great Sicilian pizza especially Zazza. My nephew turned me on to Morena. Before I review my purchase, please know my family owned an Italian bakery for 54 years and we made pizza too, so I'm extremely fussy. I tried both the sausage peppers and onions, as well as their Zazza. Both were exceptional. Their Zazza is not shy on garlic, which we love. Their sausage peppers are onions Sicilian style was loaded with flavor and cooked to perfection. The crust had a good crispness to it and the peppers were so fresh and not overly soft like some can be. This is now our go to for a fabulous Sicilian pizza. And I'm going to say it, WAY better than Angelo's in Stoneham, which we find lack flavor....
