I’m really upset about the experience my family and I had here recently. When we walked in, I asked the waitress for a table for 3. She pointed to a table with 4 seats and said, “You can sit if you’d like,” so we began to sit down. Out of nowhere, a man, who I couldn’t tell if he was a staff member or just a customer approached us and said, “Did you not see the line in front of you? Why did you just sit?” I explained that the waitress had just told us we could. Instead of apologizing or saying anything else, he walked away and went straight to speak with the same waitress. After that, no one followed up with us or acknowledged what happened. Before even asking the host,I had even asked the people in line if they were waiting to be seated or just speaking with the host. I would never intentionally cut in front of anyone, and I made sure to check. Still, we were left feeling judged and very uncomfortable. To make things more confusing, the man who confronted us eventually went and sat at the breakfast bar, which is why I still don’t know if he was a staff member or just a rude customer. We tried to stay and make the best of it because my daughter was really hungry, and we used to come here often. But after the stares, the poor communication, and the overall uncomfortable vibe, we decided it wasn’t worth it. Even when a server eventually came to take our drink order, we had already made the decision to leave and eat somewhere else. It’s really disappointing. I was working in the area with a few other guys. We stopped here for the first 3 mornings we were in town. The first and second days were great! Great food and a great service first thing in the morning around 6am. On the third day there was a hair right on top of my egg. I didn't want a refund I just wanted another breakfast sandwich. No problem they fixed the issue. A coworker of mine ordered a sandwich with no cheese just like the previous 2 days. His came with cheese. No problem they took it back and made him a new one. Problem was his new sandwich came with a hair on his egg. At this point we were all kind of frustrated. He sent it back but instead of getting a new sandwich the cook sent it back out and said they couldn't find a hair in the sandwich. After pointing the hair out to the waitress he decided to skip breakfast entirely from this place and told her not to bother bringing out a new one. They didn't charge him for the sandwich but still made him pay 2.75 for his cup of coffee. I feel like the waitress was told to bring the sandwich back out to us. Very Expensive. Staff was extremely rude in the beginning. Then at the end of our meal the waitress tried to take advantage of my Dad by giving him the incorrect change. She swore she gave us the correct change and continued telling us that. My Dad is elderly and if I hadn't been there to step in he would got ripped off. I handled my dad's money right before we went in so I knew exactly what he had. This was a very bad experience especially on XMAS Eve. This was our first time going to this place. We are not from around the area and have been homeless since October 16. Stuck in a hotel bc a tree fell on our house. Very unfortunate the way our Day started.
