Sushi (Mako) Rolls Were INCREDIBLE in regards to taste and appearance.; Patriots Mako was great, Blueberry and Pineapple interesting combination, and the Volcano Mako also tasty and looked beautiful. 3 Stars for that alone, but, since Service was HORRIBLE (2 tables filled when I ate there, myself and a couple 3 tables over) AT LEAST 7 servers were walking around, this is not counting the sushi bar creators and the older gentleman at the register, server came over once, took my order. came over a 2nd time with my first roll, came over a 3rd time with my 2nd roll. Had to ask 3 times for my beverage before i finally got it. No one came over again until they brought the check. Servers seemed to be busy either talking to each other or distracted with phones to be paying attention to the 3 people eating in the establishment at that moment. Minus 1 star for that, and also minus 1 star for the PRICE. 16.96 and 17.95 PER Mako was extremely high TBH, especially in rural-ish Massachusetts. Suggested maybe cut the serving staff in half and substantially cut down the price of the sushi. If the servers are just going to stand there ignoring the patrons, why have so many? Made sense the cost was high, 7 servers, 2 tables filled. That being said, The Mako creators at this place are EXTREMELY talented. The Mako's tasted incredible, and looked beautiful. I would consider eating here again, as the taste/appearance were both top notch. Sakura is heads above any sushi, sashimi, chinese dishes in the area & I’d say beyond that. The sushi & sashimi is particularly to die for. It is so fresh & their sushi chef has the most distinguished of sushi chef honours. I found them online after I lost my Mum & wanted to treat myself. I ordered sashimi & margaritas. I had the sweetest delivery person who delivered a party. They put in fushia pink glasses & I celebrated Mum. Went this evening to their restaurant finally & met the owner Mark who I was thrilled to meet! That’s how I learned how they do such an amazing job. They get fresh fish as they go directly to the docks several times a week. Their sushi chef has the highest honours bestowed on a sushi chef. The best of it was when Mark , the owner said “oh! You’re Allison! You’ve been ordering delivery for almost a year! We all know you! You like our Margaritas & sashimi delux”. They remembered when Mum passed & I ordered & they gave me party glasses. I have a good collection! I almost thought I’d better not post this & keep them to myself but they are too absolutely the best sushi, sashimi, Chinese restaurant I’ve ever had in all my travels in North America to keep to myself. We were so very excited to try this place! Reviews looked decent and photos and menu looked good! Sadly to say it was absolutely horrible!!!!!!! The food tasted so old and just drenched in so much sauce to the point we took it to go and threw it all away after we left. Basically just took a $100.00 bill and threw it in the trash. I am not over exaggerating at all. Please think twice before going here. Vegetables were old to the point of some of the pieces turning and tasting spoiled, dumplings just felt so questionable trying to eat. Service was ok at best. Restaurants it's self is a facade trying to look decent enough but it's just dark and weird inside nothing like any pics. Also there was a bucket of water next to a pile of Vegatables that were wet but what was confusing was that then an employee came over later and dipped a towel in the same bucket to wash a table.
