Charm Thai Bistro — Restaurant in Wakefield

So I’ve been coming to Charm for many years and I want to start by saying, up until recently, the food has been exceptional!

Unfortunately the last few times I’ve ordered, the food has been disappointing. I always order the same thing, drunken noodle w/ pork. Most of the time it’s great! Spicy! Flavorful! Full of fresh veggies! Delicious!!!

The last few times however the flavor has been off and the rice noodles were mushy and almost inedible. The last time they substituted chicken for my usual pork and didn’t mention anything about the change. I would also suggest specifically saying that you want spicy ( if that’s what you want). I didn’t think I needed to specify that with an order of drunken noodle (historically very spicy) but my lady order (the one w/ chicken instead of pork) was rather mild… more like a Pad See You than a drunken noodle.

I’ll try one last time but if the order is less than delicious (as I’ve come to expect) I’ll likely start looking for a new go to...

Nasty , gave me food poisioning. Also the delivery driver was complaining about the drive because I had got it delivered to work within 4 miles. I had ordered a chicken + shrimp phad thai, thai iced tea. . First off, the chicken tasted rather rubberish, the shrimp wasn't that great and it just smelled old... trust me, when I say I KNOW bomb thai food when I see/taste it, and this wasn't it, chief. Had Pad Thai with Chicken and wok oriental beef.

-Pad Thai: just sweat. It’s not Pad Thai. Especially chicken texture is weird. Very dry. The source tastes like instant one. Just sweet no flavor.

Lacked of authentic flavor, and the noodles were all broken and not fresh.

Woke oriental beef- doesn’t have complex taste. it is made with soy sauce with sugar. That’s it.
