I just left shaws in Wakefield ma empty handed, I was on a chat with shaws online a couple days ago because I can’t figure this clip a coupon thing, After going back and fourth the person on line she said she would do it for me and all I would have to do is type my phone number in and I would get the discount at check out. Well when I went to check out that didn’t work so I went to the customer service desk and explained what I was told online, the lady behind the counter was beyond rude. All she kept saying was if you don’t clip it you won’t get the discount in a rude manner. This lady shouldn’t be at the customer service desk with her attitude. I calmly left the items on the counter and walked out . Shame on you shaws For treating a senior citizen like this.
So shaws response was to contact them again but not give me the discounted price because I don’t know how to clip coupons . I’m curious how many senior citizens know how to clip coupons at shaws . How many senior citizens pay full price because they don’t know how to clip coupons? Again shame on you shaws for treating senior citizens like this and taking...
Read moreI Love this Shaw's because the people that work here are Awesome. They will go that extra mile just to help you out. It can get pretty crowded and they don't always have enough registers open but if you go in the morning during the week you will get the older people that work there and have a much better experience, I believe. They have a new manager, and he is very sweet, his name is Joel, ask for him if you have an issue of any kind, he will help you or at least try. Their Bakery is Top Notch , their Seafood is Alway Fresh and inviting. The Produce is Fresh and Plentiful. The Floral Dept does an Amazing Job, The Women at Check Out in the mornings during the week, Rock. Very caring individuals. It is not perfect, but it is where I myself do about 90% of my shopping. They have Awesome Sales and I Enjoy shopping there. Check it out. I personally love to shop...
Read moreTerrible customer service. There is zero communication between the departments. The orders for pick up are missing the items and unless you call for each missing item specifically, nobody would bother telling you, that in fact, they forgot to include 9 items in your order!!! So that means you would be traveling back and forth to get your food. So much for convenience. The national customer service desk is even worse. Rude, helpless employees who offer resolution and then wash their hands. You spend an hour on the phone with them trying to find out where the groceries they promised to deliver went (2 hours after the time promised) only to find out... that the store employees have placed the order with Doordash to deliver your groceries... drumroll... back to the store!!! We had the worst experience. I would never go back...
