Caffe Italia — Restaurant in Wakefield

Loved the food.... the service was good. Maybe it was the day and time we went (dinner on a Friday) but it was LOUD in there. Like a jet plane was taking off loud (maybe I'm exaggerating a bit... but my point is valid).

I couldn't hear my girlfriend from the other side of the table... even with our voices raised. Nothing... just the roar of the people in the restaurant. The acoustics in there are terrible... maybe curtains or a sound absorbing ceiling?

I tried to sit next to my girlfriend on her side of the table so I could talk to her. The waiter told me that the table next to us was reserved for a party of three and I would not be able to sit there. There wouldn't be enough room. There was no party of three it was just another couple who couldn't hear either.

So bottom line... I would definitely go there again if there...

Best Authentic Italian cuisine in Wakefield!

This place has it all… Cozy and Romantic Atmosphere, comfortable seating with bench seating and wrap around bar area total seating for about 74 people.

Wide selection of appetizers, delicious Italian dishes from seafood, to steak and chicken there’s something for everyone and yummy Italian desserts.

The owner is a great guy who’s down to earth and very friendly, he treats everyone like family and it shows with all the loyal repeat customers. Place is always packed so I highly suggest making reservations in advance.

The best part of any business is always the employees and Cafe Italia wins in this category with an outstanding team of friendly and professional staff always there to make your experience unforgettable.

Very poor visit. In area decided to have dinner here asked restaurants near me and this came up. Nice atmosphere. We ordered dinner. Husband had chicken and mushroom risotto I ordered a ceasar salad and a pizza with fresh fig prosciutto and buffalo mozzarella. Salad came with rolls that were cold and burnt?? Asked for new rolls. Ok..the entree and pizza took forever!!!! Meals finally came. Risotto was delicious for him my pizza was burnt. Waitress never appeared to ask how is your meals?? Finally we asked another wait staff to get our waitress. She came over and asked if we wanted check? Looking at my pizza she asked if I wanted a box. I said no it's burnt. Her response was sorry can I get you something else?? I said my husband is finished eating do no. Would not...
