McDonald's — Restaurant in Walcott

OMG, if I could give this place negative stars I would. First off the staff was so busy goofing off that they didn't get my full order, which I didn't figure out until I got to the window. When I pointed out that the drink was suppose to be large the YOUNG KID working told - "why don't you look at you receipt, that's what you were charged for" before I could say anything else he walked off and tried to hand me my bag. I told him "no, you obviously were paying more attention playing with your coworkers than you were to my order". I will pay whatever the difference is for the size but I still want a large. He grabs the large cup and fills it like a psycho, hands it to me, then hands my bag. I offered the medium drink back and he ignored me, but the weird part was-he stared at me while I talked AND still didn't respond to me. I then asked if the fries were large also and he gave one head shake STILL staring at me. I said thank you and slowly drove off, I looked over at the window and he adjusted himself to look at me while driving past, THEN THIS PUNK KID WAVED AT ME, but not a full hand friendly wave but one of those hand up, slowly moving his fingers up and down wave. I interpreted it as a f* you wave.

Anyway, I know a trucked that drives through walcott a couple times a week, I told him about it and he told and will continue to tell the 180 truck stop folks. I mean this kid had scary serial killer vibes. With the worst attitude I have ever encountered at a drive thru; that's saying ALOT.

Worst customer service ever. I went in earlier today and there was an associate cleaning the kiosk or working on it so I went to the counter and waited. No one came over or even acknowledged that I was in the store. I figured they were to busy for me so I left. I returned later thinking it was just a shift issue. The was a senior woman in there, she asked one of the associates if they could take her order. One of associates replied it would be awhile but she would help her in a minute. I did my order on the kiosk. No one came to help the senior woman. She again asked the associates if one of them could come take her order. This time the associates just ignored her. The woman ended up leaving because nobody came to take her order. It is heart wrenching that an establishment like this would hire puerile that treat senior citizens so incredibly rudely. I only had cash so i went to the counter to pay and no one came to take my money or even acknowledge that I wanted to pay. The associates just hung out together chatting in front of the burger bin. Another associate was drinking and eating hanging out with the other 2 associates. Not sure if she was in clock or not. But I will never stop at this Mc Donald's again and I hope the senior lady never comes back either and can find better service some somewhere else. Nobody deserves to be treated the way these employees...

So I don't know why I need to make a review of this place. It's a McDonalds in your life by now you should know what your getting into when you hear the McDonalds name. It wasn't a bad restaurant. It was clean and the staff was helpful and kind. Only downside I had was in Wisconsin I can get the Steak and and Cheese Bagel at literally any McDonalds. I went to this location and they said they didn't have it for like 5 years. Not their fault I am sure it's corporates choice. But ugh I went there from the truck stop craving a Steak Egg and Cheese Bagel and was let down. But, yeah. No other complaints. It was a normal McDonalds. Go here for a quick fix. Or go across i80 and goto the Truck Stop. Or in the parking lot of the truck stop there is another gas station with an Arby's. You literally have 6 choices for fast food if your in a hurry. McDonalds, Arby's, Wendy's, Taco Bell, Dairy Queen, Pizza Hut. The last 4 were in The World's Largest Teuck Stop. Oh I forgot at a different gas station in the parking lot for The Truck Stop is a Blimpie and a chicken place. So don't just take the easy way and eat McDonalds, unless your craving McDonalds.
