Arby's — Restaurant in Walker

Decided to cave into the hype with their burger.  It is a good value, but not great.  Their curly fries are world famous and we love them!

Dish: Deluxe Burger. Probably the first thing you will notice on this burger is the lettuce.  It is a huge amount and on the bottom and therefore hits your tongue first before the burger.  The burger itself was decent, but nothing to write home about.

Dish: Classic Beef ‘N Cheddar.  One of my favorites.  The texture of the bun is an amazing combination with the beef slices and the oozy cheddar is my favorite part!

Side: Curly fries are a common reason we stop by.  They are world famous and we get them often!

Service: We’ve been to this location off and on over the many years living near by and they have been cheerful, helpful, and overall good.  A couple tables were messy in the eating area, but they were cleaned within a couple of minutes after we noticed them before sitting down.  She even chatted with us while cleaning.

The custom round plastic trays are cool and original.

Atmosphere: The eating area is surprisingly cosy and warm feeling with the wood textures.  Most of the tables were clean when we stopped.

Conclusion: I’d stick with the beef and cheddar or their staple items on the menu.  While I was interested in their burger since there was some hype about it, it turns out to be mediocre.

The last three experiences we have had when we have tried to eat here were abysmal. I have a standard: if you don't open within 15 minutes of your opening time, I walk away. The last two times they did not open within 15 minutes of their opening time, though there were clearly employees inside.

But what leads me to write this review is my experience yesterday. My husband and I came in, and it was fairly busy in the drive through. I could see the screen, and it looked like 6-8 tickets total between drive through and dine in. After standing at the register for a bit, an employee came up to use the computer, and asked if we had been served. We said no. He told us that he would not be able to do it (I'm guessing he was clocking in or out). However, there was someone behind the counter the whole time (maybe a manager, as she was dressed differently than the rest), who was filling orders. After she had cleared nearly all the orders on the screen and no one had taken the time to take our order, we left. It was clear (as we had been asked) that we hadn't ordered, and there was no indication that anyone wanted to help us, so I will not be going to this...

Messed up my entire order, brought it back later to have it corrected, checked my "corrected order" before leaving and the employees were talking about me doing that, but I'm glad I did look because they messed up again. Then they stated the I ordered something I didn't and I was able to/ had to prove that I in fact didn't. I was extremely respectful, I wasn't in a hurry and I was just happy to have my order made as I paid for it. No one apologized for messing up, no said thanks for letting them get it right and driving back in. Ate dinner when I got home, after going back and forth twice, it was the ONLY meal I had all day bc I was busy. I spent the entire night with horrible food poisoning. It's 6pm the next day and I'm just now able to keep down water.
