Edit: I see your reply, but I'm confused about what the servers name has anything to do with your lack of management and food quality. The server did their job as best they could with what they had. This message is for the OWNER! NOT THE SERVERS!!! FIX THE QUALITY OF YOUR FOOD! HIRE A MANGER that is there to issue refunds. The servers have nothing to do with the quality of your leathery food or the fact that management isn't always available for assistance with issues that may arise. My impression is you are obviously are looking to punish someone that has nothing to do with how you manage this place. I WILL NOT RETURN. And I'll advise others not to either.

One of my co-workers suggested to try here based on his experiences at other Tacos el Cuñado locations, so a band of us ordered takeout from this new mexican restaurant on Alpine Avenue - just at the corner of 3 mile (where the old Pizza Hut used to be).

As expected, the place is clean, shiny and new, since they have not been open even a week at this point, and while I'm pretty much cautious about new mexican food - I went with my regular "can't screw up tacos and quesadillas" choices - and was sorely disappointed. The quesadilla tasted like someone had brushed it gently with a flavor, but it wasn't the chicken nor the cheese that made me think there was something to taste there. But the taco was severely disappointing, and the chicken (hey, I like chicken!) was flavorless as well. I was not the only ones disappointed here - my other two co-workers both rated this a "disappointment" and a "5 out of 10".

Maybe in a month or so I can try it again, but first-week food quality was sub-par. It was hot, and fresh, but I feel like all I did was ingest calories, not eat some tasty...
