I'm not sure if this is a corporate store or single owner franchise. Whoever manages this location, please pay attention. On the night of June, 29 2023 at appx. 7:40 p.m. I entered to sit down and have dinner. After being helped, the person, whom I assume was the shift manager (I didn't ask her name because after this incident, I didn't care at all) began shouting at an employee named Cole. The conversation went a little something like this "sm- Cole, where are you supposed to be? C- front counter, cash Sm- where have you been? C- window, counter, fry, line Sm- what did the schedule say when you clocked in? C- counter cash, where would you like me right now? Sm- (realizing there are customers listening at this point) never mind, just, whatever" C- sorry, just trying to be helpful (returns to customer at counter) "sorry, what can I get for you today?
I began to post very close attention to what happened next. The shift manager who was filling orders with chicken, stopped and went out of my sight. One employee stood there in their phone, another sat down on a bucket and pretended to stock things, another was prepping more chicken.
While this is going on, Cole (who let me say, if I knew this person has any interest in trades or home renovations, I would hire immediately at a fantastic wage, and train him to do every part of trades I know, he's that high quality of employee) wiped down all the counters, all the trays, actually stocked items, went to the dining area and wiped down every single table, swept, and still helped the window employee prep drive thru orders. He looked upset, almost defeated, but still smiled when I asked his name.
This employee clearly has a multi-tasking mind, whether it stems from a strong work ethic, or the ability to see big picture, or maybe ADHD or similar condition. A good managers first priority is to support their staff. This includes identifying your staffs strengths and weakness, and embracing and challenging both.
Cole should ABSOLUTELY be commended for his skill, work ethic, and ability to receive criticism while still remaining positive.
This shift manager should really hone her HR skills and PR skills and communication skills, to better support her staff.
Please address this, I will be stopping back by in the next few days-weeks to review the situation...

Read moreWorst customer service I've ever had. We got there as 8, waited 10 minutes before we got to the speaker where we were told that they had spilled the Nashville hot sauce and that "some people can't stand the smell of spicy things." I asked her if there were only one person working? She told me there were 2 people working in the back, one person taking orders, and one person preparing orders.( I'm wondering why it takes the whole crew to fix the issue?) We placed our order, and she told us it would be 15 more mins and I did ask her if we could get some sort of discount for the inconvenience? She stated "I don't give discounts." I then asked to speak to the manager, she said she was the manager. I asked her, her name (she wasn't wearing a name badge) and she told us she couldn't give us her name, my husband asked her and she said her name was Jessica. We pulled ahead and after about 15 minutes another young lady came out to tell us they were out of biscuits, would cornbread be ok? It was not what we wanted but we were willing to settle since we had already been there for half an hour. ( Since she came out to ask us that, we thought our order was almost ready as we ordered chicken, coleslaw, and now cornbread) but we waited another 10 minutes and then pulled back to the window only to be told our order was still not ready and if we didn't leave the window she was going to call the police on us! At this time we asked for our money back and told her that we were going to call the corporate office she told me to "Have fun because that's not my name." We then took our dollars down the...
