Jimmy's Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Walker

We stumbled upon this place trying to turn around and I told my husband, hey let’s just eat here… my goodness, what a pleasant surprise. I had the walley meal and the food tasted amazing! I’ve been to a lot of restaurants, there’s not a lot of places that can live up to my expectations but this food tasted so good, even the pickles were really tasty! The walley was seasoned well, the mashed potatoes were creamy and fresh and let’s not forget the perfect fluffy buttery biscuit and delicious fruit bowl.

All the waitstaffs were extremely pleasant and very attentive and our food came out crazy fast. I appreciate the actual high chairs, very family friendly! The actual chairs were very comfortable. The only thing I can possibly think of is adding steamed vegetables and that’s it! Initially when we walked in, it felt so peaceful and relaxing.

We will be definitely coming back in the future for breakfast. My husband wants to try the biscuit and gravy. Keep doing what your doing with the recipes because again, I can’t stop raving how delicious the food was. Highly recommend this nice little...

Myself along with my group of BA Moms(:P)always make sure to come to Jimmy's when we get together at our lake place for getaway weekends. The night before we had had a less than pleasant experience at a different restaurant in town that we could not stop thinking about. The next morning(for the second time in 24 hours because its THAT good), we once again came and had the best breakfast along with the best server who's name was Michelle ( the others are always great too but this specific experience was with Michelle). My husband and I see her and the other great servers in there pretty much every time we go to our lake any other normal weekend. Besides the food ALWAYS being top notch, she really is something special! Thank you Michelle for literally turning our frowns upside down from the night prior and making our experience nothing short of perfection. My Family and I visited Jimmy's while I was there to visit my uncle who was having surgery. Our first day we had breakfast and it was amazing!! So we decided to do take out for lunch. We ordered three walleye sandwiches and I was sold. Our goal was to eat at several restaurants in the area. We end up eating at Jimmy's three times!! My grandson wanted to eat there everyday. We finally got ice cream and shopped at the general store. I can't recall the name but it has a little bit of EVERYTHING!! We stayed at Walt's Hidden Acres. This was in 2019. We're planning our trip as I write this review to visit in July. If you ever want to visit a place where you feel welcomed and the people are extremely nice and friendly.
