When I arrived at the building, I was immediately impressed. It’s vibrant, colorful, and inviting—just the kind of place a true donut connoisseur like myself loves to discover. Upon stepping inside, I was greeted by a clean and pleasant atmosphere, with the irresistible aroma of fresh donuts wafting through the air.

While the drink coolers could use a little extra love to match the overall cleanliness, the rest of the space was in great condition. Then came thehighlight of my visit: the cashier, Ashley. Initially, our interaction felt a little off—it almost seemed like she was being rude. But, in reality, it was just early, and we were strangers exchanging words before coffee.

After grabbing my drink and two jalapeño cheese kolaches, I went to pay, only to realize I was a few cents short. Here’s where Ashley truly shined. She went above and beyond to reassure me that the $0.10 was no big deal. Her kindness turned what could have been an embarrassing moment into one of genuine human connection.

In hindsight, I was probably that customer—the one who could’ve backed up a line if the place had been busy. But Ashley handled the situation with patience and grace, making my otherwise rough morning so much better.

If you haven’t visited yet, I highly recommend it. And when you do, be sure to say hi to Ms. Ashley—and don’t forget to leave her a well-deserved tip!

I think they are under new ownership. Donuts are excellent, best I've had in the area. Service was excellent and the counter and drive-thru folks are super nice. The drive-thru is open very early.

Update: After not visiting here for a while, My past three visits have been very disappointing. They moved into a new building next door. Ever since then, the service seems to be lacking and the food quality isn't what it used to be. If you don't make it there within a narrow window of time, you will get cold donuts from the day before, or you will see them putting away trays of donuts from the display and hurrying to close the place. Thereby, leaving you a choice of only a couple of items that nobody wanted, and the employees telling you they have no other items left. And it's still 45 minutes before they are supposed to close. It's a shame, because I really did like this place at one time, but they have changed for the worse. On the bright side, there is a NEW Donut place opening a couple of blocks away. I saw them putting the sign...

We’re regulars at Sam’s, a favorite treat for my son. They always remember us, and the donuts are consistently delicious. For my son’s 5th birthday, we decided to surprise him with birthday donuts. Unfortunately, a DoorDash driver mistakenly took our order. Despite the mix-up, the staff was incredibly apologetic and offered to remake the order on the spot. We declined but were planning to buy a dozen donuts, and they insisted on giving them to us for free, they truly were so upset by the situation and made every effort to fix the mistake that wasn’t even their fault.

They even offered to remake and deliver the order to our house across town, but we declined again. Later that day, they messaged me on Facebook to apologize once more and insisted on making my son a special order. We went back the next day, and they crafted a personalized order with his name, making his entire year. His smiles were endless.
