Smoothie King — Restaurant in Walker

Its a great store with amazing employees BUT!! The new manager Jean is horrible!! She cursed out a fellow employee several times where other people could hear. I'm no expert but I work in a place of business aswell and had I done that id be fired instantly. Someone with power should not be able to do these things without being held accountable as anyone else would be. With that visit I lost respect for the management in this store and made me feel bad for the employees because no one deserves to be talked to that way. To be honest it pissed me off and I wanted to say something to stand up for the employees because as a loyal customer spending numerous dollars there it shouldn't be that way. The employees naturally couldn't say anything because they would be fired of course but I want someone that has power to read this and know that the new manager of that store is gonna drive out business as I've heard several people say they will not be returning to the walker location because of what's happening. Jean is terrible and must be removed from management or she will drive away business!!! I'm highly pissed off and if she is ever in there when I go there I will turn and walk right back out the door. Jean has a way to make customer and employee feel unwelcomed. This is real and I wanted to take the time express my experience with what happened. I went thru the drive thru today and the guy that took my order and gave me my smoothie (Jade R was the name on the receipt) did not mention the app or the rewards and there is a sign on the window that states if our team members do not mention the app or rewards then you get a free smoothie on your next visit. And when I pointed out that Jade forgot to mention the app or rewards, very politely, Jade gave me a blank stare and said “okay” and turned away from me, then I said the sign right here says I get a free smoothie next time I come if you forget to mention it and he looked at the sign and said “why did they put that there” and then said “ okay” turned his back again and said “have a good night” and closed the drive thru window with no explanation. I really love Smoothie King, but this specific location has disappointed me a few times. I purchased 4 smoothie bowls, extra toppings on all of them. Not only were the bowls half full, they had less toppings than normal. Rotten fruit I scooped out at home & replaced with my own banana & added my own peanut butter. The Ponchatoula location is my go to store, & they’ll continue to have my business, my bowls are so full there with the freshest fruit, & always extra if paid for. Walker location isn’t what it used to be. Consistency is key across locations..
