Waffle House — Restaurant in Walkertown

I have never been to a waffle house where I enjoyed my experience until I walked into this one!! I was having the worst morning it was pouring down rain, and it was just a terrible day... my family was like, "Let's go to Waffle House," and I thought "lord this will just add to the bad day. "... but from the moment we walked into the time we left, it was like the best experience I had ever had. I couldn't believe it. I was litterly in shock. I litterly said to my family it would be an hour before we even ordered drinks but as soon as we sat down the waitress was there... I said well it will take 30 more minutes to get the food order in then BAM food order IN, and dang here comes the food I MEAN like not even 5 minutes AFTER we ordered and everyone the whole time was sooooo friendly they had a really good team work going, communicating well with one another to get things work work in a certain flow it was so impressive. The waitress we got had just in for her shift. She was great and very friendly and helpful. We had been waiting for a while. The day shift told us we had to wait for 3rd shift to come and take our order. Which was completely fine. My only concern is that the lady that was ready to leave her shift was complaining about 3rd shift and this was right in front of customers. And she was ready to go home saying it all loud and everything. I used to work in customer service and I was at one place 4 years and then another one for 2 years. That is something that you don't do is complaining about your job. How you are the only servicer and you have all tables full. Yes it was a little busy but you dont complain about your job to customers. We waited for 3rd shift to get completely ready and put our order in for take out. To preface, this is my family’s typical Waffle House to go to. We like that it usually isn’t too crowded and we usually get consistent service and food. Tonight, however, was different. We were greeted promptly and had our orders taken. Most of our food came out quickly. My daughter received her waffle but me & my husband didn’t receive ours. We waited for our server to come back by the table, which she didn’t until 30 minutes later to bring the check. We asked for the waffles to go.
