My husband and I had dinner here for the first time this evening. He had a double-cut pork chop, which he said came out exactly as he ordered it "medium rare" and he loved it . . . high praise, indeed, as he is in the meat business and knows a good cut and quality when he tastes it! I had salmon piccata, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The salmon was cooked perfectly and served with just the right amount of piccata sauce, of which the taste was light and balanced.
The food was wonderful, our server (Madison) was friendly and attentive. Add to that the ambience and acoustics (even though the restaurant was crowded it wasn't loud, and we were able to converse very comfortably), and I can definitely say that we will be back, and next time we will bring our friends!
Update 12/15/23
Was here again a few weeks ago with business colleagues and a third time tonight with my husband. What a pleasure. Excellent food. Outstanding service. And I especially appreciate the ambience and acoustics: despite all tables filled and everyone chatting you never have to raise your voice or strain to hear the conversation at your own table....
Read moreThe woman on the phone was less than nice when we asked for bread with our Italian dinner. Asked again at the restaurant to please make sure there was bread in the bag (because they have forgotten it before), again nasty attitude but assured us it was there. (It wasn’t there) Charged us $65 for penne vodka and chicken Francese and then when handed $80 for our TAKE OUT meal the woman asked if we wanted change. So after being nasty on the phone, this woman expected a $15 tip (more than 20% on a To ago order that was sloppily thrown together and lied about giving us bread). We had asked for extra sauce, & they filled our to go dish to the top like soup so it spilled all over our car. It was as though we upset her by asking for bread & extra sauce and they punished us for it? Foods good. Customer service was absolutely horrific. We would have gladly tipped her if she did her job with a little more dignity and respect for...
Read moreTook my family of 6 people and the food and service were average at best. Bill came to 300 and I left a tip of 15% . The waitress came to the table in front of everyone and asked why I didn't leave her 20%. I spoke to the manger on the way out to tell him how his waitress was shaming me into giving her 20% tip. He was a waiter filling in for the owner who was away on vacation. He sided with the waitress and I gave her another 40 dollars now being a 25%. I called the owner when he returned and told him of my dinning experience. He said he was appaled and would speak with the waitress and get back to me. Never heard back. So if you dont have a problem with being shamed on your discretionary tipping this place is for you. I own 5 real estate offices and have shared my experience with 200 realtors. This is a bad practice and all should know what they are in for when they dine at this...
