Twin Oaks Motel — Hotel in Wall Township

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The managers are awful and rude people. Upon arrival, they told me housekeeping would be at our room "early" in the morning. We showered that night after a 12 hour drive and woke up the next morning around 8 am. Still no housekeeping. So we asked for towels and were told we could not have any unless we gave them every dirty towel. We did and they brought us new towels. No housekeeping ever came to our room after being gone all day that second day. On our last day, day 3, housekeeping had never came to our room and we woke up at 7 am to shower and get back on the road. Of course we had to call and tell them we needed new towels because we were getting ready to leave. They asked us why we needed clean towels if we were leaving. I was appalled they even asked. Then they came to our room with two towels and they chastised us for asking like we were children. We explained that we had days worth of trash in our room and housekeeping never came to our room once to give us clean towels. They said that "when you ask for towels, that means you forfeit housekeeping." I told her she never told us that and how would we know that. She said that's what ALL hotels do. I've stayed in hundreds of different hotels and never had to exchanged dirty for clean, nor have I ever had to forfeit housekeeping after asking for towels. I told her the place was disgusting and they were the rudest people I had ever met and would leave a review about my experience. She said, "you do that." Do not stay here. They are lazy people who charge a fortune for a tiny room where the only decent thing is the flat screen tv. Moldy smell. Burn holes in the furniture. Dirty refrigerator. Dirt and cobwebs in every corner. Had there been anywhere else, we would have paid hundreds to go...

It was during the winter. I was freezing. They keep the heat at 68 degrees. I'm partially anemic. They had me in one of the coldest rooms. They gave me a heater to use, but, they take forever to heat up the room. One night I got home from work and I put the heater on and the temperature of the room rated 35 degrees. I felt so hurt and angry at the same time. Here, I'm a good paying customer, and they're not even taking care of me. Why was it so damn cold in that room???? I immediately called the police crying. I didn't know what else to do. I was trying to be so nice to these people, but, they just did not even care about me at all. I had been there for months. You'd think that they would do their best to try and switch me into a warmer room, but, they did NOT care about me at all. And the woman who comes in to clean the room is the coldest and nastiest woman I've ever come across. She's definitely in the wrong business. She's sooooo NOT friendly at all!!! Look. I said my peace. I don't wish bad on these people. I pray that they don't do what they did to me to someone else. I pray that they learned something from the situation, and if they didn't learn anything... their loss. We can always gain wisdom and enlightenment from anything...

BED BUGS! BED BUGS! BED BUGS!! I'm still eaten up & itchy from making the mistake of staying here. I should have driven away when I saw all the drunks standing outside their rooms partying and fighting. The owner Ken is very nice. This is NOT a non-smoking hotel. Everybody smokes and the smell in your room/pillows & bedding is strong. I felt very UNSAFE here as the windows did not close or lock. Anyone could have climbed in a ground floor window. The bedspread had multiple stains on it. Ken brought a new one but that was covered with cigarette burns. There was a disgusting splat of something on the floor. I pointed it out to Ken and he tried to say it was WD-40. This was white slimy & looked like sperm. It was obvious the floor had not been washed. Their was a microwave & fridge in the room. The inside of the microwave was brown & crusty. The TV had distorted pictures & colors. Walls are paper thin so you can hear and smell everything going on in the rooms next to you. I'm sorry Ken but I cannot recommend anybody to stay here. It's unsanitary, unsafe and not worth the low cost that I paid. Especially because of...
