Four Winds Restaurant — Restaurant in Wall Township

I am sitting in the restaurant as we speak. If I could give this restaurant 0 stars I would. From the second myself and my family stepped in the restaurant the attitude of the staff was appalling. We had a 7:30 reservation which we waited over a half hour to be seated. When we asked how long until our table was going to be ready we were told by staff “everyone has a reservation you have to wait. “ Okay so then why would someone make a reservation? Next they tell us there is a problem with our table which the floor is uneven which is making the table uneven. Their answer to is was “it doesn’t bother us if it doesn’t bother you” Mind you we are party of 8 with a reservation. We were told we would have to wait another hour if we didn’t want this table. So we were left cramped in the corner. Next we order drinks with slow service. Empty bottles and glasses left on the tables and Our tables were never cleaned after appetizers. We stared at dirty plates until our food came. Then our food came out cold and way under cooked. Medium hamburgers came out rare and bleeding. We sent our food back and it came out under cooked again. It looked like they just threw it on the grill for two minutes and put it back on the same plate. 4 people in our party went home without eating dinner and we were never offered anything else on the menu instead. We were told by our waitress they make a million burgers a night and left to stare at our uncooked food on the table. We asked for a manager and our waitress said she was the manager. No management skills and the worst attitude. It’s sad when a manager of a big restaurant has to serve tables. I can not stress enough to not come here. What an embarrassment to bring my family here....

Made a reservation online for Thanksgiving approx. 1 month ago. I received an email this morning that my reservation was canceled. No reason given. I called today and asked why my reservation was canceled and the person answering the phone was unable to explain. She did however make me a reservation for the same date and time. I requested a call from the manager to discuss the automated cancellation and why this happened. I received a call back from Emily Woszczak. Before I had an opportunity to discuss this she then wanted to cancel my reservation yet again due to a " New Policy" I asked if she can make an exception since ive been given a run around for over 1 month. She was adamant about not making an exception and kept referring to the " New Policy." I asked to speak with her manager, but Emily purports not only to be the manager but the owner. Emily said she is the one who makes all of the decisions. I asked her why this process was so difficult. Emily said I'm the one being difficult. The price of eating out is quite expensive, but money is not the issue. It's about customer service and treating customers as if they matter. Bad food closes restaurants, so does bad customer service. Sorry Emily, your " New Policy" and your lack of empathy towards the situation made the restaurant lose a 15-year customer. Was referred by Eric, a car salesman at T&T Coast Buick-GMC. The food is incredible and you get your money's worth. Took my nephew Ian for lunch and the very next day took my Dad and my Sister's family for her birthday 🎂. The PRIME RIB dinner is huge and almost everyone in the place was ordering it. Everyone said it is tender and flavorful. Will try it next time. For lunch, I had the Chicken Medley which was chicken breasts sautéed in a cream sauce with asparagus, tomatoes, and mozzarella served over Pasta. I was also given a choice of soup or salad. I chose the Manhattan Clam Chowder and it was incredible. The next night for dinner I ordered the BBQ Mixed Grill. It consisted of a 1/2 rack of Southern-style baby back ribs, a BBQ Chicken Breast, and 3 BBQ Shrimp. The ribs fell off the bone and did not need to be picked up. My Dad ordered the Maryland Crab Cakes and he said they were really good. My Sister ordered the Ribs and Shrimp Combo which had the 1/2 rack of Ribs and 4 Jumbo Roasted Garlic Shrimp. My two Nephews ordered Cowboy Burgers, topped with Cheddar Cheese, Sautéed Onions, Bacon, BBQ Sauce, and a nice portion of Salted French Fries and Onion Rings. I will definitely be making this one of my dinner stops...
