The manager is unprofessional and a raisist. He shouldn't be running a store if he doesn't have any manners. Learn how to speak to your customers. Worse place. I Dont recommend this place.
My mother suffers from lyme disease and wanted to buy her a few things. I decided to stop by and buy her favorites. Once in the store the manager kept following my fiance and I like we were criminals. I saw that they had some nice discounts on a few items and told my fiance to buy some for our house. Once I got to the register ready to pay he rudely came over and said that it's his store and we weren't allowed to pay separately. He was very rude a person in his position should not speak to anyone the way he did. I would have still bought my mom's things if he would of explained and used a different approach. But because he basically has no manners, respect, and correct training I left with nothing. Went to Wal-Mart and got a better deal and better service. Maybe you should take some lessons on how to run a store and treat your customers rude man. You have no idea what people are going through. It seemed like you hated your job. Do is all a favor and just stay home if you are having a bad day sir. You are a total...
Read moreI stop into Super Foodtown in Sea Girt pretty regularly and honestly it’s one of those places that just feels like part of the community. It’s not the biggest store around but it’s clean, organized, and never overwhelming. The staff are super friendly. I’ve had managers personally help me at self checkout more than once which says a lot about how hands on they are.
The produce is fresh, the bakery smells amazing every time I walk in, and the butcher counter is one of the highlights. I’ve gotten steaks there that were better than what I’ve found at bigger chain stores and they’re always happy to answer questions or cut something to order.
Is it the cheapest? Not really. But the prices feel fair for the quality you’re getting and it’s nice not to deal with the chaos of a big box store. Every now and then I can’t find something super specific but for everyday shopping it covers almost everything I need.
If you like that small town everyone knows each other vibe with a solid selection and great service this place is...
Read moreCashier at line 6 today Caucasian girl with long dirty blonde hair treated everyone in line before me and after me with respect: spoke to them, bagged for them, handed them their change back, handed them their receipt. But my turn comes she doesn't even speak to me, makes sure I took everything out of my cart, doesn't bag for me doesn't even push the groceries down so I can reach them to bag myself, puts my receipt closer to her so I can't even reach it and doesn't even say bye. Then she proceeded to stare at me as I walked away. I was so bothered I didn't even make it to my cart before writing this. I was the only person of color on her line.
I do have to say everyone else in the store in every department is very nice. 2 Stars just for this one experience but it did not make me feel good at all. A good attitude goes along way to making people feel comfortable and have...
