We decided to visit the T-post on our 32nd wedding anniversary and were glad we did. Food selection catered to our tastes and was better than we expected. Appetizer Gizzards were delayed due to the Boss not happy with the way they looked initially which was fine as our drinks never ran out and we were constantly checked on by the wait staff. Beer was cold and drinks had the perfect amount of giddy up and git. When the Gizzards did show up I'm glad we waited. They were perfectly prepared and the honey mustard sauce was one I could brush my teeth with. My wife had the smoked brisket and I the chicken fried pork chop. When the meals arrived food was hot and better than we expected. I usually do a chicken fried steak but have now fell in love with a chicken fried pork chop which is a first for me. I could cut it with my fork and it was covered in home made country gravy. The mashed potatoes were very smooth with great taste. Mac and cheese is obviously homemade and something that will be on my plate on our next visit. A mudpie desert capped off the meal. Overall great experience and atmosphere was perfect with many folks giving the mechanical bull a go. I look forward to coming back when the band is playing. Thanks T-post for helping us celebrate our wedding anniversary and I am excited for out next visit.

This was our 1st time going. I was pretty sad about the experience because I don't like to give bad reviews but We 1st got our biscuit appetizer which was not cooked and doughy inside. We let the waitress know which took it back to the kitchen. They all looked at it and came back and said do you want more biscuits or something else? We decided to get the fries instead. When the fries came out with the kitchen staff he said he tried our biscuit and it was doughy. What! He tried it! We couldn't believe he said that! We ate some fries but definitely those seem like chips. We then got our food which was ok I just thought it would have had more flavor and a veggie or something with it. Then we looked over to the bar and saw the waitress making drinks touching food with no gloves and using a rag to clean and then back to making drinks and then going to the back to eat. Never once did we see her clean her hands after any of that or put gloves on. I love the atmosphere inside the place but dang I don't think I will be back after everything. When we left we did get stopped by the Owner Dan asking about our experience and we let him know all the things. I hope they can get things figured out here but for now I will just cook at home.

Everything started out great, greeted in a timely matter got our drinks and appetizers fairly quickly and then, down hill from there. Waited for about 30 minutes after we got our appetizers and no food, waiter never checked on us the rest of the time we were there (not ounce) finally after 45 minutes got up and looked for our waitress and asked about our food, 10 minutes later she said it would be out soon that the kitchen was backed up, which I could see all the tickets on the rack. Didn’t get upset as I could see that they just seated to many people to quickly and flooded the floor. After an 1:30 minutes 3 out of the four dishes came out, ordered the chicken fried pork chops and as the photo shows that’s what you get for 22 bucks my daughter got the round here burger and she got a bun, meat, and I guess that’s cheese on the corner of the bun and a tiny portion of the grilled onions, guess that’s why they call it the round here cause that’s all you gonna get a round here. My wife got the burnt end sandwich and couldn’t take a photo because she didn’t even get her food till the end, 2 hours later. Will not be coming back for a while. Hopefully they’ll have the kinks out.

I havent gone out in Walla Walla much lately. So I dunno if Everywhere is this high or if its just normal. But I had a Burger and Frys at TPost. The Burger wasn't bad it was fairly good but not terribly flavorful. I got an all american but bare bones it added smokey mayo sharp cheddar onions and bacon to be like a 1lb version but smaller of a similar burger on the menu. Only because no way i could eat a full 1lb burger. Plus it was 30.00 for that version so down grading some i still paid around 26.00. This seems a bit steep for a burger. You'd think if they are that expensive they'd hand cut the frys at least. The waitress did say everyone loves the frys. They were all kinda small like cheap frozen shavings kinda chewy too so yeah not great. I just wasn't thrilled nor was there weren't many interesting choices on the menu. The waitress seemed to be kinda new or didnt know much about the food. She also didnt ask if i wanted any other condiments. Like ketchup etc. Although did ask if i wanted something to dip my frys. My friend ordered an order of onion rings as it wasnt an option to eat with the burger which i thought was odd considering your paying that much for a burger you'd think onion rings would be an option. She didnt really offer it as a buy up either she just looked confused and brought them as an appetizer. I dunno what the sauce was but it didn't seem to go with the onion rings at all. My biggest thing all in all was if im gonna pay that much to go out to lunch it better be really fantastic and memerable. I understand inflation but i can buy a really good burger other places for just a lil less with fresh cut fries even so maybe I'm just picky compared. Id suggest...

So my review is going to be a mix of negative and positive.

Negative- Party of five, all of us ordered some type of hamburger. We were asked "pink or no pink?" Everyone asked for "no pink" except me. I ordered "as pink as you can legally cook it, at home I blue sear my burgers". Everyone got overdone burgers, which I expect when "no pink" is ordered. My burger was OVERdone. It was similar to eating an overdone steak. And the "pounder" that my wife and son shared was like a tough piece of sirloin tip. If an establishment fails at making a simple hamburger, I'm not going back. The fries were undercooked and apparently when you order a "choice of side" you get charged for that in addition to the main item. Most restaurants don't do that, so I guess that's our fault for not asking in advance. I guess I should have expected that from a company that charges $10 for a side of carrots at their other restaurants.

Mandatory service charge. When I asked the waitress "So, what kind of benefits do you guys get?" and she answered "Well, tips are really good so far", I should have known. I already know what the owner has said about this mandatory charge, and it's all explained on their website. Apparently a few of their employees have no idea about these benefits that the website speaks of.

Positive- we were seated immediately and our waitress was amazing! Watching people on the mechanical bull was really fun. My mother in law really enjoyed her side of coleslaw and my daughter in law seemed to love her side of mac and cheese.

Would I, my wife, my son, daughter in law or mother in law recommend this place for even a halfway decent burger? Sorry, but the...

Check your bank statements! Overcharged.

I had an unfortunate experience of being charged wrongly (3 different transactions of different amounts). Thankfully, I check my statements and realized it quickly. I have called to fix it and while the manager said he was running a refund, a few things to note: there was never an apology for this happening (even though it was VERY clearly their fault), no resolution other than being told I was getting a refund (and then not happening), after being told I had signed the other checks I asked for a picture of them because I know for a fact I did not, I was told they wouldn’t (surprise surprise when it was wrong on their end), AND multiple phone calls about the issue that wasted my time to undo their problem.

A week after my initial conversation, I had to call AGAIN because it was in fact not done. In the conversation I expressed my disappointment and surprise that there was no apology for this occurrence, which manager completely dismissed. And did nothing to even make up for the situation along with the wasted time I had to spend calling them again and again.

It is beyond disappointing to see this kind of response to an issue caused by the restaurant themselves. Taking ownership and responsibility is unfortunately not an attribute that I will connect with this company. Previous to this occurrence, I really enjoyed coming here even though the service is always too relaxed when it comes to timeliness. However, this situation speaks for...
