Copper Mug Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Walled Lake

It has been a while since posting a review for Copper Mug. Felt like they deserve a shout out, for pulling through Covid and getting back on track doing a great job there. Invested in cleaning up that outdoor patio, so it is very nice and comfortable out there now. Also, I have to give credit for some new menu items, especially the French dip sandwich. It is one of the best we have ever had anywhere. Also, the walleye sandwich is huge, and very fresh and well prepared. That is an amazing sandwich that should not be changed in any way.

Staff there seems hard-working and attentive, even when busy. Working in a environment like that can be stressful, so just plan ahead an allow time for an extra cocktail while your order is prepared.

Finally, the beer menu changes frequently, and seems well curated with seasonal favorites, traditionally expected local brews, and one or two odd balls worth trying once in while.

Excellent food. **One person kitchen, produces if there were 3 working. * . Highly recommended to anyone looking for great food and a flavorful midwest experience.

I don’t think you can’t find a better value for awesome comfort food that couples with outstanding service that makes you feel welcomed. They reinvest to make the experience better while maintaining the history.

Went to the Copper Mug on Father's Day, the service was terrible. The waitress had a bad attitude and we are still waiting an hour and a half from when we ordered our food. The worst part about all of it was that they let other people get their food, and eat before us, There was a table of four that was seated 15 minutes after us as we watched them come from the parking lot, and they were served before our table of five. Their menu even says 30 to 40 minutes to wait for your order. Unfortunately, our wait has been an hour and 40 minutes as of now. We eventually paid for our drinks and left.
