Subway — Restaurant in Wallingford

I had a great experience at this location, unlike the awful experience I had at the subway downtown recently. Every employee and the owner himself are consistently cleaning. You can eat off the floor here. All the food is well kept and always fresh as had been on my last three visits there. When I was joking and telling my story of another visit at another location, I said, “you would think that a food business would at least keep things clean in customer view…nobody could see what happens behind the counter or in the freezer, haha”. At this point both the owner and another woman there immediately invited to escort me go in the back, the storage area, even the freezer to take a look!!! I was amazed. I didn’t have to at...

They must have had a bad day today. I tried to place my internet order for pickup in store. I had problems with the website. I asked in store if they would match internet pricing. I was told no they don't do that. Sat down and finally got the website to take my order (@ sale pricing). I watched 1 person take 20 minutes to make my order of 2 subs. In that time the other person serviced at least 6 different customers. And the person made one sub with the wrong bread and had to partially remake it. I hope this is not typical service. I gave 2 stars because when it was all done and we got the sandwiches home they tasted...

I went yesterday to get a chopped salad for a family member and not for myself. I stopped going to Subway about a month ago because I'm just burnt out on the same old stuff. Nothing ever seems to change on the menu. And even when it does like in the case of that new sesame Ginger chicken, it's simply the same old tasteless chicken with a different sauce on it. Sort of gimmicky if you ask me. I think it's pretty clear why Subway is in trouble with same store sales here over a year. It's just bland and boring at this point. I think they're in major need of an overhaul of that menu to get diners...
