The Sweet Spot — Restaurant in Walnut Creek

I started trying to lose weight about a month ago and finally began to see some progress. Naturally, I felt it was the perfect time to reward myself.

This time, I decided to check out The Sweet Spot, as they just opened recently. Prior to this, I had never tried any Middle Eastern desserts.

I ended up getting the Banana Biscoff Kunafa, and it was absolutely worth every bite. I’ll definitely be coming back to try the Dubai Chocolate Kunafa so I can compare them, but honestly, everything on the menu looked delicious.

We were fine with the 20 minute wait, since we could see that they were making things to order. However, we were pretty underwhelmed by the food. We ordered Dubai chocolate crepe, Dubai chocolate kunafa, and double chocolate mini pancakes. The crepe was tough, and both the mini pancakes and the kunafa were dry.
