I went in this morning to pick up my order of 1x Roasted Turkey Parmesan Ciabatta 1x Matcha Latte 1x Guittard Chocolate Brownie
The Matcha took about 45min to cool down enough to be drinkable. I ordered it as regular milk temp..
My biggest complaint is the Roasted Turkey Parmesan Ciabatta. When I looked inside the package, it was so squashed and gross looking I could barely identify what it was. I kindly asked for a replacement to which the sweet barista agreed and speedily arranged for the replacement to be made. When I was given my new Roasted Turkey Parmesan Ciabatta, it looked a little bit better but still seemed so odd. It was extremely soggy on top and very crispy and dry on the bottom. I thought, “Let me at least give it a try before completely discarding this $7.25 sandwich.” I let it cool down a bit and it still looked the same. I took two bites and I must say, that is THE WORST Ciabatta I have ever tasted. I threw it out when I got to work and felt the need to report that either your stock of that item is expired or you need to reconsider the way this item is to be warmed and served. I was very disappointed and I find myself feeling quite ill after just those two bites. 🥴 Considering yall charge a $7.25 amount for this item, I truly expected more.
Thanks for reading.
Guys, watch out for that Roasted Turkey Parmesan...
Read moreThis is the third time I have had a disappointing experience at this location. First time, it was super busy and the staff seemed ill-equipped to handle the work load. The breakfast burrito I ordered was sadly cold in the middle. FWIW, other locations I frequent are equally busy at times, and the staff remain pleasant and food and drinks are prepared well. The second time, I ordered a lemonade iced tea and because it was uniform in color, I thought it did not contain lemonade. The pics and other locations leave the lemonade on the bottom. I did go back to ask for lemonade and was told there was already some in the drink and they made it how they were instructed at this location. This third time, I was not asked if I wanted my pastry warmed. There is no soy milk (which I believe is a regional change, not unique to this location). The person preparing my drink kept moving away from the counter to do some work at the back counter while I was ordering. I later asked him about the bathroom code while he was sweeping and he barely gave me the time of day. Seems like an efficient worker but lacking the skill of emotional labor which is mandatory in customer...

It wasn't that long ago when I looked forward to Fridays: the office is a little less crazy and the end of the workday meant the start of the weekend. However, now when Friday rolls around I find myself mentally and physically exhausted. I work a half day, leaving the office early in order to attend grief counseling at the CC Crisis Center. Not far from that center is this Peet's coffee - a perfect place to grab a pick-me-up before my meeting.
Peet's is in a plaza across from Heather Farm Park and the parking lot is usually pretty crowded here - there's Fitness 19 gym and Sports Basement plus a ton of other shops and restaurants. Last Friday however, I found parking quickly and was happy there was only a short line inside Peet's. I ordered a caramel Javiva from Melissa. She made me the delicious blended espresso treat and David topped the frozen drink with a pile of whipped cream. I'm in love with the caramel Javiva!
My order was super fast and the staff were both so friendly. I look forward to coming back on Fridays to brighten up my...
