La Casita Grill — Restaurant in Walnut Ridge

I'm not sure how long ago this was, but this review is way out of date. Scroll down to see the newest review and why they went 5 star to a 1 star. It is more on the expensive side, but the food is top notch. The staff is caring and attentive. (never had an empty glass) Jessie made sure to check on us and ask how everything was. When I wasn't really sure what I wanted, he asked a few questions about what I was in the mood for and delivered perfectly to my satisfaction! Will definitely return.

5/25/24 This place has gone downhill so bad!!! Ever since George left its just slowly gone downhill, and they finally reached the bottom in my opinion. I called and ORDERED to go, an Enchilada Rancheras with chicken instead of beef, a TALL cheese dip, and a razorback burrito and charged $42.46. I paid with cash, and she didn't give me a receipt. What I recieved was a very small cheese dip, like the size they put the salsa in, some incredibly rubbery, cold and disgusting Enchiladas and it was missing things, and very bland and tasteless chips, well not completely tasteless as I could taste the oil on them. The razorback burrito was cold but okay (my husband was able to put it in the oven to heat it back up) but it was like they cut up a huge onion and put the whole onion in there to fill the burrito. I tried calling to talk to the manager and was hung up on EIGHT TIMES!!! It was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Blew Me Away!!!

From the second we walked in the door Jorge was super friendly, funny and personable.

The chips are home made and super thin and tasty. They are complimentary and the give you refills. And the sauces were all so different and incredible in their own ways. I believe they gave us 5 or 6 different sauces.

Ok the meals... Both me and Wifey loved our meals. I got steak and she got shredded chicken. The queso sauce was so good and the refried beans were to die for. Prices were low while portions were large. Cooked to perfection and good to the last bite.

We also also had the fried Jalepenos which we kind of did as a desert instead of appetizer and they were amazing. In my wife's word "those were the winners".

Not sure when we will ever be in the area again as we were just passing through BUT if we are anywhere even close we will DEFINITELY make the detour and be back...

Ask for Jorge, he is the man!!! Probably the Best Waitor we have ever had. The type of person who makes your day a little brighter by the energy they give off.

This is indeed worthy of 5 stars, let me tell ya Why

Firstly the atmosphere is phenomenal. For what it is. It's a Mexican restaurant I grew up in New Mexico and it felt like home going in there.

Secondly the customer service is great, they treat you like family when you arrive uvu. One of our waiters even hot some cheese sauce for us (a 7 dollar item) free cause of the mistake some waitresses made.

Thirdly the food was immaculate I had the seafood fajita and it was bomb.

Overall 10 out of 10

You can't give 5 stars less a restaurant is perfect and this clearly deserves it 7v7

My only complaint which is more of a statement. They don't have alcohol which isn't necessarily...
