7 Leaves Cafe Rowland Heights — Restaurant in Walnut

I went through drive thru I had ordered online, 4 caramel macchiato and one house coffee. Some of them were specifically easy ice and boba. All of them were upsized as well . From when I left to where I went to take them for my coworkers I was already done with my drink when it isn’t even a 15 min drive. My drink was specifically easy ice and tell me why I see that More then Half of the drink was ice. When I looked at the rest of the drinks they were the same more ice than the actual drink. I called them and the one who answered assured me that they made them well. Then the barista, who was also the manager , read to me the recipe and told me when they ask for easy ice they add more half and half and a shot more. But still didn’t explain why my easy ice drink still had the same amount of ice as a regular iced drink. I got frustrated and asked for a refund and the manager told me she couldn’t but she could give me a refund remake instead. In which I hope next time around they give me easy ice . OH and honorable mention that the barista gave me all 5 drinks caramel macchiato when I asked for 4 CM and one house coffee ( she called back and refunded me...

I have been to other 7 leaves cafes before, but this was my first trip to this location in Rowland Heights. During COVID-19, I only experienced the drive thru experience, which was awesome.

It may be a bit tricky to get into here, I find it a lot easier driving from the 60 freeway, and turning right into the drive thru. I believe this place used to be a Tommy’s Burger. You drove up the the menu, and then order what you want. The speaker is nice and loud, and they require for you to have your mask on. It is good to note that you can also use Apple Pay. I always get the house coffee, and my wife usually get the oolong milk tea. Keep note that they do have soy milk if you need a milk alternative.

Since I have been making a weekly trip towards this city, I really enjoy having the drive thru experience for tea, or coffee. Something I wished other boba places had. Regardless this is the only reason I would go get boba during this though time with the pandemic. Thanks to the workers continuing to serve...

The drive through line wasn't long at all at about 11:30 am on a Sunday. My order was ready super quickly too! The quality of the tea here is definitely one of the best. I had the oolong milk tea, easy sweet with boba and the oolong flavor was really strong and perfectly balanced with the milk and sweetness level.

Edit: I went here again at about 8:30 pm on a Sunday and there was no line for the drive through. The employees were again super quick to get my drink order completed. The employee at the window was...
