Walking into the restaurant you can already feel a hip and fun vibe. There are 6 flat screen TVs along either side of the walls playing korean music videos and sports games. The booths are fairly large and has all the condiments you need on the side. Not to mention including my favorite waiter bell that you press whenever you need service. The place was very clean and modern looking.
now, on a Sunday around 3:00pm the place seemed a bit empty. However, slowly but surely more people flowed in, mostly families. We were greeted quickly as soon as we stepped inside and seated at a booth. The side dishes filled our table instantly and there was a menu conveniently kept at our table for easy ordering. The staff was friendly and consistently asked how we were doing. We ordered the $16.99 ALYCE menu which included LA Short Ribs, beef brisket, original beef brisket, spicy chicken, marinated pork chops and an assortment of veggies. The short ribs are to die for! So delicious no need to dip in the sauce. The kimchi was average but the other side dishes were phenomenal. Their grill made sure none of the fat would grease up your meat so when we left here, I didn't feel at all greasy or had a food baby.
I highly recommend this fine establishment for anyone. It's a great environment for families, group meetings, and dates! I will definitely go back...

We walk in and were seated by one of the wait staff. Seconds later, an older waitress asks us to get out of the seats because we are supposed to wait to be seated. I didn’t think much of this. Maybe they were a tad bit unorganized.
After removing us from the table, this waitress then told us we weren’t allowed to have outside food or drinks (some of my party had boba tea). We asked if we could keep our drinks, and she can add sodas to our tab. She said “No, this is a restaurant.” We then told her we can discard our drinks, and she said, “You don’t have to, but this is a restaurant.” Throughout the entire ordeal, she was massively rude.
After finally being seated, she handed us the menu and told us to order quickly. We asked for a minute and this girl literally stood there and stared at us the entire time. There were other guests in the restaurant, and no one was being harassed (yes, I’m going to call it harassment) like we were.
My sister stood up and straight up told her, “I’m sorry. We are no longer going to be eating here. You make us feel very uncomfortable and unwanted.”
To which the waitress responded, “Okay. Good bye.”
Absolutely worst experience I’ve ever had in...
Read moreYou can't beat the value of RH-BBQ, even as prices have been climbing steadily in the past months/years. It's nearly a the $20/person threadshold after tip, where it was once as little as $12/person. Be careful walking inside, as the floor is absolutely slick with grease. I am amazed at the confidence some servers walk around with, because I have personally risked my neck walking across that floor in sneakers.
The food and menu are what you expect: thin cut, decent quality meat, and well seasoned. It is definitely worth the experience, either if you're a fan or just trying KBBQ for the first time.
Parking is a nightmare at prime hours (dinner, weekends, Friday nights), so be ready to park in the back of the plaza. I recommend taking a ride-share to and from the location, just so you can enjoy some drinks with the meal.
With the rising costs, greasy floor, and horrendous parking situation, this location has dropped a star or two since I first visited a few years ago. It is still a solid 3 stars, and maybe even 4 stars at a less busy hour. I would recommend this location as a more affordable alternative to most of the KBBQ locations in Rowland Heights and the...
