My family enjoys coming here and it was THE late night spot to be going. My sisters had already ate, but I was craving it so we decided to go.
Wow. I do not recommend coming here at this time unless you want your mood to be spoiled by the service.
We ordered and Helen gave us an unbelievable amount of attitude in a condescending manner because "we just ordered a beef combo". Insinuating we did not order enough and scoffed when I said that was all. We were not given all the side dishes and only noticed upon looking at the other tables. We were given two bowls of rice when we had requested three. I decided to not mention this because we felt like it was enough. When I took a look at the check we were charged for two bowls when the combo comes with one.
When I mentioned this, we saw that Helen was going to grab another bowl of rice and give it to us after we had finished our meal. The other server had stopped her and she begrudgingly fixed it. We felt very uncomfortable and disappointed.
We had such good memories of this place throughout the years and to say that we are disappointed is an understatement. I hope management does something about...
Read moreI've been coming here for awhile. I've been eating here before covid 19 was even a thing. Either way, this place is easily one of my favorite Korean spots for one big reason, their seafood tofu soup(medium spicy) is insanely delicious.
I typically get the bulgogi combo with seafood tofu soup( I haven't tried most of the other items so I can't speak on those). The main meat dish may appear smaller than some other spots you eat at, but I think portion size is pretty good and it definitely tastes good. The seafood tofu soup, though? This is easily one of the best I've had. As people who live in socal know, Korean food is everywhere. Most places tofu soup can't get close to how flavorful this bowl is. I've had places like BCD tofu house and it tastes watered down or has one boring flavor with no depth at all.
The staff is also incredibly nice and they also open late.
Their fish cake side is good.
So come on through, order a seafood tofu soup, crack the egg into the boiling soup, mix it all up, and let your taste buds go into a heavenly journey, transcending into a realm with flavors beyond human...
Read moreHomey Korean spot. Came here for a dinner on a Saturday night at 8pm and got seated immediately. It’s a cozy spot with Korean classics. My group shared assorted tofu soup, bulgogi, chicken soup, and chicken katsu. The bulgogi was tasty and came out sizzling hot. The chicken soup was on the blander side but the broth would be good for anyone who was getting over a cold (as my boyfriend was). The chicken katsu was well fried and came with a side of rice and cabbage; the sauce that came on top taster a bit ketchup-y. The tofu soup was the star of the show for me - it comes with an egg that you crack yourself and there was a good mix of seafood. It wasn’t too spicy but was flavorful. Overall, a good spot for a casual meal. They accept credit cards and there’s free lot parking. If the lot is full, there is a residential neighborhood with free parking a...
