Today, I went on the app to buy a starbucks metal tumbler in hunter green. On the app it showed available at this starbucks ( that I never go to after all the mediocre service in thr past)I placed my mobile order for pick up at the drive thru. I pull up to the drive thru speaker, and the barista confirms my mobile order When I pull up to the window, they hand me my drink and I inform the barista that there is a tumbler with my order. He gives me a blank stare and calls over others to the window. A girl tells me she will look to see if they have the tumbler, and I tell her it confirmed to be in stock on the app for their location? She gave me a blank stare and left the window? Without saying another word to me she comes back to the window and starts talking to the two guys standing there? All of a sudden, she pops the windoe open and hands me a receipt and card. I asked her what is this? She says, i am giving you a card with credit for what you paid for the tumbler. I asked her if they had any other tumblers, and dhd said yes. So I asked hercehat she had and dhe said, " i don't know what you ordered?" I told her she had the receipt. She could see what I ordered???? I asked her if she was the mansger, and she said she is one of the leads. I told her she needs to learn to save a sale, she is clueless!!!
Luckily my favorite location has been open for a while and as my husband says, don't bother with this subpar starbucks when the gold standard is right down the street!! Just want everyone to know that the Starbucks at Grand & Valley will treat you well and provide extraordinary customer service... no ignorant baristas with entitlement...

I usually, always encounter kind people at the drive-thru here, yesterday was no different! A kind young lady assisted me. She was so sweet. (I wish I would have gotten her name to include it here.) But today, I had the pleasure of meeting Nick at the drive-thru. What a great way to start the day! He was so kind, friendly and courteous. His voice was welcoming from beginning to end and he even greeted me at the window with a smile. He was literally like a little angel. Lol! A complete stranger to me, that had no idea what his kindness did for my day. I just had to write a review about it. I go to a Starbucks almost daily, but this experience here just stood out amongst the rest! Great customer service is so hard to find. Rare these days! Read moreThis Starbucks is a complete disappointment. I come here almost every day, but when I asked for a simple cup of ice water, I was told I couldn’t have one unless I bought something that day. Even after explaining I’m a regular customer and had purchased items yesterday, the cashier dismissed me and said it “doesn’t matter” and suggested I buy a cake pop if I wanted water. Absolutely ridiculous. Denying a loyal, paying customer something as basic as water is pathetic and shows zero respect or customer loyalty. This location has the worst service I’ve experienced at any Starbucks, and I will never come back. Save your money and go somewhere that actually values customers.
