If you like dining with rodents running around while you're trying to eat, this is your place. I get it, rodents and pests are everywhere, but this establishment really has a problem when all staff members didn't seem to bat an eye that a rodent was running around like it was all too normal of an occurrence. Regardless of rodent problem, the service initially was super slow and inattentive. We waited for a good 12 to 25 minutes before having our existence acknowledged by a server. The beer selection was large (albeit with too many IPA options). Burgers were good, although the fries weren't very good and the dessert we ordered was burnt to a crisp and nearly inedible. Despite the mouse running around by our table and a burnt dessert, no accommodations were offered or made. I felt this was pretty poor service and taste. There is very limited in street parking. There is a paid parking lot towards the back of the establishment. There is an outdoor patio but it is not the best ambiance. The was live music inside, which had a little too high of a volume in order to speak comfortably with others at your table.

The service was awful. Multiple times our waitress shot me a dirty look (presumably because I'm not ashamed of myself and will wear what I want). She, and some of the other staff, were incredibly unhelpful and unkind. While the place has a generally cool vibe, the bathrooms were gross and there was dust on nearly every surface and old balloons in the rafters that had never been taken down. The food was subpar for how expensive it was (bananas foster french toast was undercooked and the alcohol wasn't cooked out of the sauce properly so it tasted strong and was watery/soupy. The fries were cool and soggy by the time they got to the table. The duck poutine had an abysmal amount of duck on it (for almost 20$!) The crispy chicken sandwich was 70% salt so I could only eat a couple bites... Not impressed. We're not going back any time soon, if at all. The staff needs a serious attitude check.

Outstanding beer selection. The menu was interesting, I wasn't sure I wanted to eat here but we did get some small plates (oyster mushroom fritters, butternut hummus and panko shrimp) which were really good. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and flavors. I didn't once look for the salt which is rare for me. That said the beer prices are the highest I've seen in the are $8-9 for 10oz for most beers. Admittedly I love craft beers and you'd expect to spend more but I've had craft beer at this price where I've gotten a full pint. The flight appeared to be four shots of beer. Ultimately after a few and some food we headed to another place to get a pint. The decor here is awesome, plenty of bathrooms (some downstairs) and high ceilings in an industrial building. I'd go back for sure, but probably only for one beer and some food.

(1.5 stars, edited to include more info) Came here on a Saturday night for a friend's birthday. We were a group of 20, so we already expected it to take a while for everyone to order, for everyone to get food, etc, but we made a reservation for dinner ahead of time. So what we did not expect was for them to seat the majority of the group in what looked like their lounge/waiting area, full of couches and 2 low tables. A few members of the group sat at the end of the bar. It did take a while to get drinks and food, as expected, but when they did come out, the waitresses practically shouted our orders at us as my friend said, "like an auction". A bunch of people in the group were skipped over, so their orders never got taken, it took a while to put their orders in and, consequently, they got their food much later. One of my friends also had her drink order taken, and then when everyone else's drinks came out, she was told that there was no more rosé, which seems like something a waiter should check before confirming the order. And the group in the lounge area- like no one should be expected to eat with their food on their lap in a nice restaurant. A table shouldn't be too much to ask for. And keep in mind, the restaurant wasn't completely full. We also saw that there was an upstairs area (not sure if you had to specially reserve it, but at least it seemed like it would have been a much better place to seat 20 people). They also had a small separated dining room, which became free before we got our food. The lounge group asked to be moved there, but we weren't allowed. Yes, we are college students, but we were dressed nicely, we weren't being loud, and we're still paying customers. And we were here for a birthday, the birthday girl should not have to worry about where her friends are going to eat their dinner. I split the grilled cheese and calamari appetizer with a friend. The food was pretty good, which was the only saving grace of the night and the only reason this review...

Allow me to explain. It is 8:30pm on a Thursday. I sit at the bar and watch the staff outnumber the guests. Yet despite this the bar staff stayed absent from the bar for much of my stay. The service was cold and awkward.

I came with a simple goal: burger and a beer. This seemed to be the place. Upon entering I was given some incredibly stale popcorn. The beer menu was staggering, overwhelming, and despite my best efforts to find reason in it, completely disorganized. If you have over 50 beers on draft, maybe organize them in some basic way.

Now paying $9 for a beer, might seem ok for you yuppies reading this, but I at least want to feel like I’m in a bar with people if I’m paying that. Not a sad ghost town. I got the smash burger, which was 16 dollars. Also overpriced. Firstly it was in no way a smash burger by the definition of the word, and was a regular burger. Secondly, the fries I got were cold and stale. I mentioned to a waitress who immediately knew what I was going to say. So they knowingly serve stale fries. She quickly brought me some more equally cold and stale fries.

In the end I lost 42.75 with tip, and could have gotten away with a more appetizing McDonald’s combo and a 6 pack of beer for in the ball park of $20 bucks…

Disappointed. This place feels like it is asleep and desperately needing a surge...

My girlfriend and I enjoyed our time when we went to brewers tap and table in the first week it had opened and being right down the street from us, we wanted to give it a try again. We just returned from brewers tap and table vowing not to go back. It's a rainy Thursday evening and brewers was not busy at any point throughout our stay. Our server was very good at making himself scarce as we could never find him when we needed him. Drinks took a while and when we received our food, it came out cold. We made the server aware (when we finally saw him) and his response was "I can see if the cook will heat it back up if you want". Once we finished we did not see the server again for approximately 40 minutes, at which point we had decided we would be better off going somewhere else for another round. We received the check and noticed it was full price for everything (4 drinks, 2 entrees: nearly $90). For how much we spent, we could have had a better (and significantly cheaper) experience at any one of the other restaurants on moody street. I am disappointed because we enjoy the atmosphere and the drink selection, but we will not be returning, and we will ensure our friends and family don't make the...
