It's Chili's. As a review of Chili's as a restaurant chain in general, 3/5. As a review of this particular Chili's in isolation, 4/5.
The service here is fine, I've never had a problem, it's not usually busy, there's often open seating at the bar. Once logistical complaint is that the restrooms with relation to the bar are on the opposite side of the restaurant so you have to walk past almost every single table of diners to get there which feels kind of intrusive, but I guess they have to put it somewhere. It's always clean though, so that's nice.
Food wise, Chili's as a restaurant chain sits relatively middle of the road. Their drink specials and bottomless chips/salsa tend to put them a small step above their competitors like Applebee's.
Their cocktail menu often has some quite bizarre drinks on it, but I kind of admire them for their adventurous decisions. Whiskey + Tequila + Sour in the same cup is not really my idea of a good time though. Whatever their fruit margarita of the season is, it's probably loaded with sugar, so if you're into that, go for it, personally I prefer their traditional margaritas. At the time of this review (Fall 2023), they had "The Tequila Trifecta" on the menu, which seems redundant for a marg, but for $5 during happy hour it was actually quite good.
If you're looking for some after work drinks and maybe a bite that won't break the bank and isn't terrible, choose Chili's. If you want a plate of unique flavors that will challenge your palate, do not choose Chili's.

Read moreOrdered to go. They forgot items from both meals. This wasn’t the worst part. Mistakes happen, I get it. I had driven an hour (30 min each way) to pick up the food. I didn’t realize there was a mistake before arriving home. I was disappointed as you might imagine. Here’s where the problem started. I was informed that the only option for fixing their mistake was for me to drive another hour again and return for the missing food. They wouldn’t entertain the option to simply credit me for the missing food. Disappointed and now very frustrated I returned to pick up the food. Upon arriving, I was simply told to wait for my missing items to be cooked and then shown the door. Mind you, I never raised my voice, I didn’t cuss anyone out. After all this, the manager/shift lead or whoever was on duty didn’t even shown their face to offer a simply apology for the inconvenience. Congratulations Chilis of Wareham, you are the winners of the only negative review I’ve ever written. I only write this in hopes that the location owner (or corporate) will see it and do some customer service training. It’s badly needed. It’s not about never making mistakes, but how you handle it when you...
Read moreI don't frequently dine in the restaurant, but have in the past, and it was always a good experience. I usually just get takeaway now to dine at home or on a picnic. The restaurant is always clean and has a nice atmosphere when I go in to pick up the food. The staff is always friendly and normally very efficient, occasionally it is quite busy and the food or service is slightly delayed, but it really isn't an issue for me. The food is always well prepared and well packaged for takeout and every order I've placed has been perfectly accurate and delicious. I did order the smokehouse combo with the brisket and BBQ chicken. The chicken was great, but the brisket was a tiny portion sandwiched between 2 slices of garlic bread. It was such a small amount that I almost missed it entirely aside from the BBQ sauce on the bread. I won't be ordering that again. Otherwise, I'm very pleased with this restaurant and the quality. The deals as far as 3 for $10 and 2 for $25 as well as email bonuses for free appetizer or dessert and free chips/salsa or beverage are great...
